5-2 to Saints. Mané, Morgan and Ward-Prowse the key players in a win that prematurely ends the John Terry love in. :-) Or...I'd take a draw.

Great away win at a difficult place to go. Now let's narrow the gap on Chelsea to 10 points. :-)

Reading about him, he's played under Steve McClaren, his career eerily mirrors Stoke's Marko Arnautovič, and he has his own clothing brand BALR. https://www.balr.com/about -

Merry Christmas, love from SFC is what this looks like! Another attacking player is perfect and seemingly can play a bit. Decent age too. Chuffed with this. Signalling our intentions early. -
Is it a coincidence that we've got better at set pieces since we've had JWP back? I think not. Great technique. Even if we struggle to create in open play it's always great to have a player good at set piece deliveries in the team.

Just to add my two pence, but I recently tried Fosters Radler for the first time thinking I wouldn't like it but I actually thought it was very refreshing. It's not no alcohol, but there's little Alcohol content in it. I'm not sure if you can get it in pubs yet but it is quite nice.

I used to love Robot Wars. Hypno-disc was my favourite robot, completely disintegrating an opponent first time it appeared. Had it been more reliable it would gave won something. The problem with the programme was they kept changing the challenges and people lost interest. I'm pretty sure they also favoured some robots/contestants over others. Shame, as technology gets better every year.

Hartson on the BBC "Southampton had a fantastic start and got themselves up to third. They have played some top sides in their last three matches and lost and now they need to get back to winning ways." We were second at one point. Bloody media. :-)

If cooking is transferring crap from the freezer to the oven, heating it up a bit until it's hot then eating it, I'm a wizard. Proper cooking I leave to the wife.

Defence is fine IMO, Midfield is fine too. I still am a little concerned about Davis as back up keeper, but ultimately I think we're weakest in attack. Pelle has done really well, but with question marks over both Gallagher and JWP, and Long not getting too many goals, I'd like to see another striker bought in. A creative midfielder would be nice too, another Tadic to lessen the burden on him. I do think we'll bring player/s in, but as usual in January you tend to pay over the odds.

I tip Van Persie to shine tonight despite his poor form. His hat trick against us in the season after promotion was gutting when we should've got something out the game. Wanyama is our key player tonight to counteract United ' s attack. He doesn't need an early yellow.

Blyth Spartans! I quite fancy a non-league draw. Or Norwich, for obvious reasons.

Yep. Hate to say it but also got a bet on Utd to win. If Saints win, i go away from St Mary's happy as larry, although a lot skinter than I am now, a draw would be a good result, and I don't win/lose any money. United win, and I go away from St Mary's gutted, but with my Christmas paid for. I'll be more than happy to be skint tonight.

Tough to name a side for this one. I'd assume we either play Reed or resort to that formation we played against Villa. So: Forster Clyne Fonte Yoshida Bertrand Reed Wanyama Davis Tadic Pelle Long or like Villa with the Reed out the team above and Mané in. FWIW I'd go for the latter. United's defence is suspect and I'd attack the crap out of it at home, with Wanyama as the brick ****house protecting our defence. Oh, and I've picked Yoshida above Gardos as that's the substitution Koeman has gone with lately.

Went on and off the stream but looked like a 0-0 until Alderweireld came off. We wuz robbed. Need vengeance on United on Monday. I'm looking forward to that.
-
Our squad isn't bad but we lack options up front. Another Tadic-type signing would be useful too. Losing Cork and having Morgan out is just unlucky, but we still have Vic and Davis. I'm surprised Koeman hasn't given Reed a proper chance yet. Still, COYS!

I'd take a draw. Sets us up nicely for Monday and a very Jeckyll and Hyde United side. Ive got more Arsenal supporting friends than any other team, a win tonight would be amazeballs.

On the plus side, I'm getting shed loads of dream team points. Still time. Come on Saints.

That effectively numbs Vic ' s effectiveness.
