Now that is probably due in part to the PA system, but I understood a lot of what the previous guy said. Here's to hoping we sign Gardos early this week. A) to get a CB on board quickly and bed him and B) to concentrate on further recruits.

Still too early for this, 2nd September after the dust has settled is when it should be done... ...That said, we can speculate. As it stands with the squad as it is, we will struggle, finishing possibly 14th to 17th, possibly surprising people with luck behind us as high as, say, 12th. But we all know signings will still be made, and some of the links have been very positive. With the right signings, we could we finish as high as we did last season. This season is transitional for us though, I'll be happy with 14th or higher, meaning we've done no worse than in the season after promotion.

Welcome Fraser! Great signing, young, Internationally recognised and already proven at the top level. But we do need to keep Boruc too. Play Boruc to the start of September then switch 'em!

This is my view, we may get humped into a drubbing at Liverpool but it shouldn't be panic stations in the slightest. I think we will lose but the effort will be there and we move on to the next fixture. We're still adding to the squad too, so we might be stronger with every game.

Unbelievable. I'd hate to be a Legia fan right now. From a purely selfish point of view our bad summer continues. I hope we can still pursue the Celtic duo or have other targets in mind. If the decision stands through appeal then today is Christmas Day for Celtic fans.
