  1. Say that 3 times and Buzzin 'Orn shows up...
  2. If we sign him, he'll be St Ings. Stings. Geddit? We can nickname him "the Wasp."
  3. Watching the highlights, it's comforting to see we have a talented bunch of young players should we need to call on them thus season.
  4. SNSUN craps pants.
  5. Cheeky bid for Wilshere? Nah! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2692022/Jack-Wilshere-pictured-smoking-holiday-Las-Vegas-England-World-Cup-exit.htmlThe Joe Hart photo is particularly disturbing.
  6. That bit when they very first go down? Nailed that. After that I mastered the sitting up bit.
  7. Too old for SFC, get rid. :-) Happy Birthday Graz. (Incidentally I showed my missus the picture of Pelle the other day. She said he was "OK" looking. Mind you, this from the woman that is massively in love with David Bentley and thinks Kelvin Davis is the fittest Saint. And picked me. And isn't exactly a looker herself. I didn't say that...)
  8. Ronald Queuemun. The patient one. :-) I have it as Koomun too, but it's not uncommon for some people to mispronounce a name. Even commentators differ on some names. Font. Fontee. Fontay.
  9. Unless we have two TOP defensive targets lined up, both of which we actually do sign we would be foolish to allow Fonte to leave. Lovren's position is uncertain, and selling Fonte would leave us with a positionally poor Yoshida and the Own Goal king Hooiveld. Sorry Cardiff, but i can't see it happening. (Although I personally think £4million sounds about right.)
  10. Dejan will be working with another Serb if he goes to Liverpool if their Markovic transfer goes through.
  11. Expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised. Or annoyed that you've got the worst. Or something.
  12. I thought we'd be on TV a lot as we've sold all our players and are most likely going to get soundly beaten by every team we play against. Im actually glad we aren't on Sky much, I've been known to get lazy and skip games if it's on TV. I'm determined to get to SMS more than the thrice I made it last season. (Shift work pending.)
  13. That's my wife! The cheating *****! This spells divorce, I tells ya. I've never been so hurt... (Disclaimer: I couldn't get a woman like that even if my willy were an inhaler and she were having an asthma attack.)
  14. We're currently well represented with players whose First initial falls in the first half of the alphabet.
  15. Pelle,Pelle,Pelle,Pelle,Pelle,Pelle,Pelle,Pelle,Batman! And that's my 10,000th post suitably wasted. :-)
  16. This bit from Bohemian Rhapsody for when he wants to join Liverpool next summer: Easy come, easy go, will you let me go? Graz Pelle! No, we will not let you go. (Let him go!) Graz Pelle! We will not let you go. (Let him go!) Graz Pelle! We will not let you go. (Let me go!) Will not let you go. (Let me go!)
  17. I see the similarities.
  18. This is why I reckon Allardyce could be the first managerial casualty. There's a lot of pressure on him not only to win but to play prettier football than they did last season. He has to hope those signings come good, and quickly.
  19. Enner Valencia close to signing for West Ham apparently. West Ham are winning the transfer window. :-)
  20. After a curry, my wife's a poo lady. I approve of Redmond if the price is right. Only 20 and has potential. Hughton, I believe, is one of those managers that signs a player and does nothing for their development, just plays them as they were signed. Redmond needs nurturing and could become a real Premier League force if coached correctly.
  21. Just watching his interview. Seems like a very down to earth chap. He also looks a bit like Morgan IMO. Getting 3 good years out of him and this could be money well spent. As he says he's tall, strong, can play with both feet and works for the team. A good Rickie replacement it seems.
  22. I like alcohol too. :-)
  23. Im not sure Morgan will still be here come September, much as I'd love him to stay (unless Koeman can work his influential magic). To that end Clasie would be a top replacement. Even the commentators on ITV are calling him the Dutch Xavi. Be nice to have a Xavi type at SMS. He'd fetch us multi millions of pounds next summer! :-)
  24. I'm excited but a little apprehensive. This is our transition season. I don't see relegation, we're too strong for that, but it'll take some doing to achieve what we did last season, even if we do strengthen all areas suitably. 10th-12th and a decent cup run would be OK.
  25. Fist game? What you get up to in the comfort of your own home...
