With the right training Redmond can go on to become a good player, so yes please. Hughton is a poor manager, if Norwich stay up it will be through sheer luck - with the money he splashed out in the summer, he's massively underachieving. Crap tactics too, largely relying on the talents of each individual player and set piece goals. Redmond is suffering there. With Guly and Osvaldo leaving in the summer, the squad will look light in attack, and an addition like Redmond could be a good bit of business.

I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Jay all the best in his recovery from that nasty injury. It looked horrible when he went down, and was clearly distressed when he left the pitch. He's had an excellent season for Saints, and it would be horrible if he missed out on the chance to play at the World Cup. Let's hope the injury isn't as bad as first feared. Get well soon Jay.

I've done a few World Cup squads, and in none of them was Cleverley. Henderson and Barkley were picked over him. I, too, would be very surprised if he were chosen to go to Brazil. If Adam, Jay and Rickie go, and Luke misses out, I'd still call that a massive success for Southampton Football Club, especially as this is only our second season in the top flight and all 3 of those players were lower league before that. It also shows how much talent there is in the lower leagues. While I doubt this is accurate (I still don't think Jay will be going, Welbeck (who I must be in the minority of rating) will be the first choice) it still shows that someone, somewhere has confidence in them. As for Luke, he was selected in the last squad and Gibbs wasn't, which is telling IMO. His time will come. I still think Hodgson will take Cole as his back up.

So they can't sign anyone until 2015. Will it affect them that much? They rely heavily on homegrown talent anyway. Weren't we linked with Tello last summer? I guess there will be no "outs" while there are no "ins".

Lallana, by quite a bit, and it shows on the poll. He makes our team tick, is the most creative, and is the one person we cannot afford to lose in the summer whatever happens. Left backs can be replaced. Strikers can be replaced. To bring what Adam does to our team would be nigh on impossible to replace. Those in the running for POTS aside from him would be Lovren, JRod and Shaw. It's still no contest. Most improved goes to JRod and Chambers in a tie, with Fonte missing out. Unsung hero is between Davis and Cork. Young player of the season is decided by an arm wrestle between Shaw and Chambers. JWP wedgies them both and steals it.

They can have Shaw for McEachran, Bertrand and Lukaku. And £5 million. And to throw both games against us next us season.
