Have we scored? :-)

We always have the lucky fags to fall back on... *pops outside for a lucky fag*

I'm off out drinking later, if Saints win I'm gonna pull later - if Fulham win I guess I'll have to come home to the wife. *sigh* Come on Saints. :-)

That's that sorted - 3 goals in the first five minutes then! :-D

This. I wish my life was so perfect that I could say I wouldn't change anything, or change very little, but it hasn't been. I've made so many mistakes in this life - things I should have done but haven't. things I haven't done but should've. Things I did do but really shouldn't've. It's been one screw up after another. You learn from your mistakes though. I'm far from perfect but my wife loves the soul of me, and the feeling is reciprocated (whatever I say about her is usually in jest) and so where I am in life now, getting paid well (albeit in the wrong job), disposable income, a handful of great friends, my health (barring some minor stuff), my humour (what little of it I have), a comfortable house (albeit rented), loving wife and with a view to starting a family, I'm happy with how my life has turned out. I don't want to think about the future... In spite of that, would I make changes? Sure I'd love to see how my life could turn out if I could go back to being, say, 5 years old, but with the knowledge I have now. Impossible though, and irrelevant, as I'm happy with my lot in life at the present time.

I'd rather the wins happen against the "beatable" opposition than the big boys. We all love a "giant killing", and beating Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal would be very impressive, but drawing or losing against the others would mean the Samaritans would need to moderate this message board. I'd take winning the next three, drawing against Villa, Newcastle and one of the big boys, and losing the other two against "top 4" opposition. (Not that it will happen like that of course, we do strangely well against the "bigger" clubs since we've had Pochettino in charge.)

Have we had a bad run of form yet? Does Sunderland-Norwich-West Ham constitute a poor run of form? Every club gets one, we're almost sure to get one, the Arsenal through to Man City games could provide one.

I think we can safely say Gaston will feature on Saturday.

Head says massive disappointment, heart says he'll come good. I really, really want to see him reach his potential with us, but just can't see it. I voted with my head, and I really am surprised to see where the votes are going. -
8-11 points there

Katrina Ramunni looks positively disgusted by Paul Van Komen, that's why she's got her back to him. Orrrrrrrrr, perhaps she and Michael Gould is secret lovers...

I see Tony Pulis is favourite. They could do worse.

Dunno - all I know is that all the married women I know (apart from the wife) love having sex with me. :-D

They did a song called Puppy Love, which is about a boy singing about his love for a woman in spite of his immaturity. It is not about banging young dogs up the butt. Although the video is quite Oedipal, in that he was singing about his love for Rachel Stevens, who was old enough to be his mother.

SRSLY? They must have tiny arse cavities then. :-)

Bugger - how do I turn the child locks off? :-D The last S Club 7 member I saw was Jon, in Jersey Boys a couple of weeks ago. He was a very good Frankie Valli. Not boneable though, as I'm not ghey. My favourite would be Daisy Evans, but baldy old Jonjo Shelvey is tapping that, so I'm going to go to Stacey MacClean for my fill of Sclub Love.

Don't forget PinkScarf. Her support of Lee Barnard was legendary. I wish I had a lady supporting me like that... ...wife doesn't count.

This. We're relying heavily on Lallana - and as class as he is, that means we have to hope he stays fit. -
Agree. I would've travelled down for this game, but late on a Saturday and on Sky? I can watch it from the pub as a prelude to my night out.
-
I go with pretty much what everyone else is thinking - winnable game but one we could easily mess up in. Keep as we've been doing - solid defensively and hoping for a spark to get a goal up front. 2-0 my prediction, similar team with perhaps a tiny bit of rotation up front.
-
I like what I see of Osvaldo, and am convinced he'll come good. His flicks, his touches, they're a class above. I do think he's trying too hard at the moment, but he has to - a place at the World Cup as Italy's main striker is under threat - and this perhaps is the main reason I believe he'll come good. 3 "lesser" teams coming up - a chance for him to fill his boots?

A good draw so late in the game. At Old Trafford makes it even more special too. Have a look at the next 3 games: Fulham at home, Stoke away, and Hull at home. Potential for 9 points there? :-D
