In 30 years time, TCWTB is going to have to explain to his great grandkids what his tattoos mean... (If he has any...)

Thanks very much. Six Points for predicting a 6-0 scoreline. That doesn't happen much.

Most random player name you've had on the back of your shirt?
SNSUN replied to Big_Bald_Si's topic in The Saints
I haven't had anyone, but if I did I'd go for my forum name so you lot can buy recognise me and buy me a pint/spit on my face. -
I did have a phone that thought it was a turd for ages, it kept making a beeline for the toilet, and I've dropped a few books in the bath, but books are books, they're just a few quid a pop. I don't think I'd truly trust myself with my phone or a kindle in the bath, especially with all the bubbles and ting.

Eek, Cardiff and Boro losing would mean Pompey and Coventry winning. We live in hope...

The Football League owe Southampton and Cortese some answers!
SNSUN replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
If they don't get deducted points and there are overwhelming similarities between the two of our situations, then we should be looking for financial compensation at the very least. That said I think the league just hasn't got around to it yet, and they'll be deducted points this season; if the league wants to warn clubs to try not to get into financial mess, then each club that does should be made an example of, as we were. -
Even if Forest did pull off a miracle tomorrow, we'd probably end up guffing up the advantage by losing to Leicester. I'd rather both teams won tbf. West Ham are not who we should be concerning ourselves with. Cardiff and Boro losing would make for a better Saturday. (Incidentally I reckon we'll beat Leicester whatever the W'ham score.)

Unless they come up with a waterproof Kindle or similar, books are better to read in the bath.

SOmething like this would work...
-
Or Leicester, with a bid £5 million more than we were planning.
-
Celtic fans would rebel if we did sign Hooper more than the Leeds fans have at the news Howson is off. I'd love it if it came true, but I just think it's pie in the sky.

"Technically gifted", "I think Hibs were interested in him", that article is just hilarious!

Rhodes, then JRod, then Maynard. Haven't seen Hooper play, no thanks to Beckford.
-
You ask the Norwich fans what they think about ANthony Pilkington, superb player and made the step up brilliantly. Well worth the money, as was Holt and Jackson, both lower league players in recent years. If a player has class, they can play in any league - and Rhodes is proving he's too good for League One. Will be a top level player, with whoever he signs for, I have no doubt.

Mountain Dew - anyone drink this stuff?
SNSUN replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Muppet Show
True according to Snopes. http://www.snopes.com/medical/potables/mountaindewmouse.asp Think I'll stick to water in future. -
Wikidroid on my phone still works. Yay.

Stuff Lee, if we've signed A. Driver from Hearts, give HIM a game!
-
Yet we got Jack Cork for £750k, a bargain and one of the signings of the summer. Not all good players cost millions - and I think we'd struggle to find someone of his quality for that money again. Someone else said it - if we only sign Jos, Falque and Lee, I'll be happy with that, but I don't think we've seen the end of business yet.
-
Real or not, I'm getting excited.

Interesting comment on there... Rammsteiner wrote: Bye bye Hooper. We all know he doesn't fit in at Celtic. Look how uncomfortable he was in November in the Press Conference when asked about the UEFA probe into the Celtic songsheet. He couldn't bring himself to defend the self-titled TGFITW (self praise is no praise) and looked like he was running off to be sick just thinking about their 'hymns'. He also wants to play for GREAT BRITAIN in the Olympics - that won't go down well at C.P. Either would be a marquee signing fo sho.

Ask your wife or girlfriend to name saints players.....
SNSUN replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
I was proved wrong. I asked her when she came in, and for someone that watches our games, she did struggle. She got Kelvin Davis, but when I asked her who our back up keeper was, she just laughed and called him 'butterfingers'. (She was there at SMS vs Blackpool.) She listed Dan Harding as our right back (which is more accurate at present than she even realises) but couldn't name a left back or another right back. She got Jose Fonte but while she knew Hooiveld, she couldn't remember the name, and went for Ruddy Jaidi instead. In midfield she got Morgan Schneiderling, Richard Chaplow, Adam Lallana, Guly and Steve De Ridder (surprisingly), and up front she got Connolly, Lambert and Barnard. The one she got that I really didn't expect was Puncheon. All in all you could put a first team together of the players she knows, but the defence would be terrible. -
Boro have the players, Cardiff have the team spirit, Birmingham and Reading have the momentum. We could all be top 6, but I wouldn't exclude Blackpool, who have some good players. Still, play-offs at the very least will still be a good season for us, but I do think with the injuries and Lambert coming back we'll have the team to get an auto spot. ...oh, and is it too early to lol at Leicester? Transfer deadline day could be interesting up there.

This guy is supposed to be class. Shame it's not a loan with a view to a permanent, but I reckon if he succeeds here then Cortese could sort it! Redknapp doing us a favour? Seems weird. Must've signed for Spurs under the radar though, because I can't find a lot on him making his move to Spurs permanent. At one point in the article, it says he's on the books of Juventus, then towards the bottom it says he's signed for Spurs full time. I hope we haven't done a dodgy Redknapp deal with the devil himself and will get rollocked for it.
