  1. I can't complain about the club at all this season. The feel factor is back and hopefully here to stay, I'm enjoying my drives to and from St Mary's (and Wembley), and with Norwich doing as well as they are, my homelife couldn't be better. Winning the play-offs this season (something I think is unachievable this season), and getting promoted with Norwich, could make me do something I wasn't planning on doing for a while. (She wishes...)

It was a fantastic evening, not only because we won, but because I had my missus (Norwich fan) sat with me at the back of the Kingsland, smiling devilishly. She was most angry with me after penalties. :smt040
  3. Almost as bad a joke as suggesting that Johnstones Paint will be rewarding our trophy win by bringing out a red and white striped paint. (I hear it will be brought out in the style of a toothpaste tube that mixes the paint as it comes out...)
  4. It'd certainly take some doing. I can't believe the staff have never fooled around though, randy buggers.
  5. I got a speeding fine (3 points and £60 fine) on the very day I sent my license off to get the previous 3 points wiped off it. :-( I'd rather pay a bigger fine than have the points...
  6. Butler's available, but he'd cost a ****ing PACKET. I'm not sure whether he can play too many MATCHES though. Oops, got hit by the swear FILTER there.
  7. On SUnday at Wembley, I was suprised by the size of the place and thought you could easily go unnoticed. This is prompted by boredom but we've all heard of the mile high club, have any of you "christened" St Mary's Stadium? Go on, 'fess up. Or the Dell for that matter...:smt008 I'm looking forward to Easter Monday.:cool:8-[ (Mods you can do what you want with this, TMS or lock it.)
  8. I think Harding's already proved he can play right back. Fish at left back then. :-)
  9. To buy the burgers and console me on her breast after a Saints defeat, but that's about it. :-)
  10. What did it ever do to you? :smt107:D
  11. We should ask Johnstones Paint or the Football League or whoever owns it for the giant Saints flag the was dangling down under the inflatable balloons on the pitch. Thought that was impressive.
  12. They'd be more effective playing for the Royals.
  13. With Cashley injured and Bridge ruling himself out, they should give Harding a look! ;-)

Sometimes I get the feeling he doesn't even know we're in League One! Serie A to Premiership is usually the norm. He's great, turning into a real cult hero. Despite the lack of starts this season, I'd snap him up given the chance.
  15. I'll be there. I was going on my tod until I realised it was a 3pm kick off and not a 7:45 kick off. (I'm a doughnut.) So bought another for the other half. She can drive down, she doesn't know it yet, but I'm fed up of staying sober for Saints games due to driving.
  16. I have you know I've sung all over the world, including the Sydney Opera House twice. (and that's a rather embarrassing FACT, although it was when I was between the ages of 9 and 14.)
  17. It's not even worth thinking about the other teams until closer to the end of the season. Saints must win all their games, that's all they should be fixated on. The loss of form of the other clubs is dealt with by fate.
  18. Missing out on Wembley sucks for him, but it also means other clubs couldn't cast their beedy little eyes over him. How much did you think Lambert and Lallana's stock has risen because of the final...
  19. What would we do without ML on a Saturday afternoon without the club, watching the cricket or some such thing. 62? Thought he was much older than that...
  20. I did think he was the poorest player on the pitch for us on Sunday, however, he is still a Saints player, and as such should be applauded. (Oh, and by Saints player I mean one that actually plays for us - ahemPulisMolyneuxForecastahem....) On that note, I read today that Portsmouth have axed Niemi. While I thought a Saints legend would be tarnishing his name by joining them, I find out he never played a first team game and has taken nearly half a million quid in wages. So maybe he's not so bad after all...
  21. Watching the highlights, I notice Papa got back quickly to defend a Carlisle attack - tackled the Carlisle lad in the box too. If his work rate is improving, that can only be a good thing.
  22. Promotion THIS season, I'm not even concerned with the Premiership, It'd just be nice to be back in the nPower Championship.
  23. I thought Lambert has played at Wembley THREE times anyway, not twice. :-)
  24. It was a strange feeling, I too, thought it would be comfortable, at 4-0 up I started to wonder whether it was a pre-game practise match, and the real thing was going to take place shortly afterwards. Carlisle contributed to their own downfall though in a major way - myself and a few people around me all saw Papa's goal happening as soon as Rickie had crossed the ball in - it was as if we knew their defender was going to balls it up.
  25. I was in an aisle seat. I can't remember if I was standing for the penalty or not, but it's better sitting on the aisle IMO. (Aside from standing up every bleeding 30 seconds to let somebody go for a pee/burger/beer/**** knows what people are doing instead of watching Saints play at Wembley...)
