MK Dons Build Up Thread - It's a sell-out, folks!
SNSUN replied to Saintjersey's topic in The Saints
Sell out, blimey. Looking forward to tonight. Sing up guys, we'll not have a better chance of getting to Wembley and potentially winning for a very long time. (Assuming we miss the play-offs this season and go up automatically next! Touch Wood) I'm fairly nervous about tonight, as has been said we're Saints and we don't do things easy, but fingers crossed we have enough quality to get through. Obviously I'd take a draw, it's a better result tonight than any normal league draw! I'm making the trip on my own tonight for the first time, give me something to cheer on my solitary drive home! -
FFS If I get to St Marys on Saturday and there's no violence, I'm going to sue the OP, the Police and Portsmouth for wrongful advertising. I haven't nutted anybody for ages, got more chance of getting away with it in a mass brawl. (I guess I'll just have to nut the missus instead...)

I shall be attending the pub I usually go to for a pre-match pint, the Royal Oak. Anyone know the opening time? (He says without trying to sound like an alcholic...)
-
I get my tickets sent through usually the day after the day after I've ordered them. I've not had any trouble. That said, the Skate tickets took an extra day or two, but I'm not totally suprised by that.

I like this. This'd be my line up too. -
He's welcome so sign OL from Southampton too...

Getting these next two games out the way will go a long way to restoring our league form. Granted we have a tough few games coming up in the League, but if we're as good as we think we are, there's no reason why we can't become a formidable force this season.
-
Most Saints fans will get the sash kit next season, but most Saints fans will also have a striped home kit too. I don't see the problem with changing the kit for one season, everyone will want the new kit, but it won't stop us wearing the stripes.
-
Exactly, give the poor bastard a chance, he's only played in one game! It's a shame he's going to be sat in the dug out for the next two matches because I'd love to see him play. I'll have to get to a League game asap.

To the tune of "Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut" You smell of fish, you smell of fish, Your team is really sh itty and you smell of fish, You're inbred, you're inbred, Your team is really sh itty and you smell of fish, You're inbred, you're inbred, Your team is really sh itty and you smell of fish. Or... the entire song sung by George Harrison (I've Got My Mind Set On You) with altered lyrics... We've got much more cash than you, We've got much more cash than you, We've got much more cash than you, We've got much more cash than you. Cos it's gonna take money A whole lotta spending money It's gonne take plenty of money To sort your team out. It's gonna take time A whole lot of precious time It's gonna take patience and time, um... To sort it, to sort it, to sort it, to sort it, to sort it To sort it out Skates We've got much more cash than you, We've got much more cash than you, We've got much more cash than you, We've got much more cash than you. And this time we know it's for real Lambert will make you ill We know if we put our minds to it We can make your team look even more sh*t We've got much more cash than you, We've got much more cash than you. Cos it's gonna take money A whole lotta spending money It's gonne take plenty of money To sort your team out. It's gonna take time A whole lot of precious time It's gonna take patience and time, um... To sort it, to sort it, to sort it, to sort it, to sort it To sort it out Skates etc etc Rehearsals for learning this entire song will be carried out at 11am on Saturday morning in front of Ted Bates' statue. :-D

Go through to the sixth round of the FA Cup or going through to the Final of the JPT would be a tough choice. Wembley or beating the Skates? One win in either game would be soul destroying for Saints fans, the only outlook can be two victories this week. We can do it, even without the new boys. Let's finish the job on Tuesday and then kick the Skates while they're down on Saturday. Pardew would be a fricking hero if we win both games. (...and if we manage a draw against Franchise FC and beat the Skates...

Being the good son that I am, I bought my mum a bird table for Christmas. My sister and I think she is going a bit weird, she'll sit for hours watching the birds. Each to their own I suppose.
-
I saw her at Liverpool Street Station and she's a fricking midgit. Good for a suck job though...
-
Shirts and Skins. Something for both genders.
-
Yes. If we're not in the top six by Christmas, I wouldn't be suprised if the axe was wielded. (Although I do think it'd still be a mistake to do it halfway through a season.)

Trying to look positively on a poor result, good old Saints! It was a poor result today, we needed a win if our aspirations are to make the play-offs. I'm still hoping our League form picks up, but we might as well give full concentration to the cups. I like the look of our squad, but reading it on paper and getting them to perform well are two different things. It'll be interesting next week to see how we fare without the new signings, Fonte in the JPT excepted.
-
Yes it's not good enough in the league, but rashness solves nothing. We won't make the play-offs now, if we do I'll wrestle a goat, so we might as well concentrate on the cups. Big week coming, and I'm privileged to be at both games. Let's see whether the Saints "B" team can do better than the current Saints "A" team.

I wish I had a Saints supporting wife/girlfriend. With my missus being a Norwich fan, I'd have had my nuts cut off for staying in the queue when she was in labour! Congrats to the parents and the lucky newborn.
-
The reason they didn't twin with the Oldham game is because that is the weekend of the "potential" Wembley JPT Final, and as such would get moved if we're in the final on the Sunday.
-
I'm better looking then John Terry and Wayne Bridge put together.

This thread made me Ha Ha doesn't have the same ring to it...
