  1. We'll win there. I don't know why I'm so confident, but with Punch in the side making his debut, I think we'll be too strong for them. Interesting to see how Seaborne fares on his debut, hope he does well to shut the moaning Exeter fans up about his ability. 2-0 to us, with a much better performance than of late.
  2. Mid-Table in the Premiership. Where we were in the early noughties, thus it would've taken about 13 years to sort out the mess...
  3. The mods have gone for a "T" break. Normal service will resume presently.
  4. I actually understood that, which is worrying...
  5. I'd be suprised if the MK Dons game was a sell out, if MK Dons haven't been able to sell all their tickets, maybe more blocks will be open for us. I'd also be suprised if Wembley tickets (should we get there) didn't go on general sale, it's a bloody big stadium. I do have tickets for both games, but if I could only afford one of the games, it would've been the Dons game as I'd LOVE to see our boys play at Wembley.

    holidays

Cyprus. My olds have owned a couple of properties out there for about 8 years and I'm the only one in my entire family (extended family too, and their friends) that hasn't yet been. (Laziness, expense, passport issues etc etc) This year though, my girlfriend and I will be jetting off to Paphos, as my Dad says he's selling up next year. Might as well enjoy it while they have it.
  7. It sounds to me like they stil hold hope of staying up, the "Rupert Lowe mentality" we had last year when holding off on administration until too late. By signing players, Portsmouth are literally increasing their own debt, but IMO they believe they can stay up which, of course, makes a huge difference in income rather than getting relegated. Of course you can see it, I can see it, the world can see it, everybody can see it except PFC that they're doomed. I don't want them to go bust, no supporter no matter how inbred or moronic they may be, deserves to see one of their passions in life cease to exist. (Damn you Windsor Snooker Club, damn you to hell.)
  8. As long as the game goes ahead (just got my tickets), I don't care what happens to them afterwards...
  9. Feel free to Poke me Hatch. :smt103
  10. **** them all, I'm not fussy.
  11. I'm still happily perving over the photos of ladies I went to school with. Until that gets old, I'll stick with Facebook.
  12. Booked mine on there last Friday, though still waiting for them with crossed fingers!
  13. Agree, this was one of his "weaker" months, but it has made up for him missing out on the months when I thought he should have won it. I'd be suprised if he even won our own Player of the Month competition - I would say that it would be close between Fonte, Mills and Antonio.
  14. This'll be my first and I'm looking forward to it. I've booked my hotel for Friday and Saturday night because I'm fed up of driving down, watching the game, and driving home sober. I want to do it like you lot, pints before the game, during the game, and after the game! (And I'm dragging my missus with me :-))
  15. Having sat there vs Exeter, I would say that if anything needs moving it's the Family bit. Perhaps that's why people are so against sitting in the Chapel - Kids like getting autographs, stick the family stand in the Itchin and then the Chapel can be full of rowdy, singing, swearing drunks. I would happily sit there then! :-D
  16. They do say doing it online is the best way of booking tickets...
  17. A good article, although Saints aren't my local club. Ok, I was born just one county away in Berkshire, but my reasons for supporting them for the last twenty one years don't stem from them being my local club, nor do any of my friends and familys support Saints. (Except my mother who knows sod all about football and only supports them because I do.) It's a long winded explaination though... That said, I have been supporting the Saints long enough to know how important beating Portsmouth is to people. I will be there next Saturday to watch my team in a local derby first hand for the first time, and I want nothing but a win for us.
  18. W******d peed on the seats, let the bloody away fans keep 'em, I say!
  19. Ok, I got beat to tha haulage company. So...
  20. This will sell by the bucketload, a wise decision by the honchos.

    time!

That's a brilliant looking list. Barring a keeper, you could field an entire first XI of players we didn't have before August! (Although central midfield would be weak...) Oh, and I think the loan window opens in a week so we're nowhere near finished yet!
  22. The 4-5-1/4-3-3 combo for me. Davis Murty Fonte Jaidi (though haven't seen Seaborne for judgement except at Exeter) Harding Waigo James Morgan Hammond Lallana Lambert Subs: Bart, Seaborne, Mills, Antonio, Puncheon (Til I see him), Connolly, Barnard
  23. I've got Peter Taylor. Stupid sucky London area.
  24. I want Dickov in our team as much as I want a willy up the butt. (For you smartypants people that means NO EFFING WAY). He's never been prolific, he's getting on, we already have our oldie in Connolly. (WHo is much better IMO). We have enough strikers anyway, Dickov would be an unnecessary drain on wages.
  25. I suspect someone was trying to be funny but there's a typo or two in there...
