  1. Tyreke Johnson?
  2. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2020/the-players-podcast-8-ibrahima-diallo-brest/
  3. Is this crook's 1st ITK exclusive? He's normally full of shit, seems talksport like that as he is getting more gigs there recently. Time will tell. I would take Tom Davies for sure, lost his way a bit but I think he's a solid player at this level. Loan with an option to buy at around 15m would be decent.
  4. There are some decent PL keepers and I would rate McCarthy as average vs his peers at best. His strengths are his unflustered mentality and his shot stopping - in the 6 yard box he can pull off some stunning saves. As for weaknesses, he is partial to flapping at crosses and his kicking is awful. I can see why teams are keen to play this way to keep possession but being realistic, the only 2 that do it particularly well in England are Ederson and Alisson and look how much they cost. To watch AM try to learn to pass a ball at nearly 31 years of age is doomed to failure and has been an excruciating watch since the end of last season. This has only been compounded since the start of this season by asking him to play fucking sweeper, as we have somehow decided that it would be smart to play our defensive line somewhere around the half-way line. Unfortunately given Ralph's comments after the 3rd loss on the spin (where we have been caught out in every single one), I see no sign of Ralph or Sparkes giving this tactic up anytime soon.
  5. Playing a line that high is a suicide mission with McCarthy and that defence. If RH couldn’t see it against palace then that’s a worry, if he couldn’t see it vs brentford reserves that is a huge worry, if he couldn’t see it for a 3rd time vs a slightly struggling spurs side then he needs his head checked. This team have proved more than capable if they are ultra fit and play to their strengths. Just like the start of last season, RH stubbornness will be his downfall. Unless he gives up trying to make McCarthy Xavi and a defence pushed up to the halfway line soon, we will be going down this time.
  6. Gotta fancy us to pick something up, we a decent on the road and the boys will be buzzing against a bang average Everton side.
  7. Win, lose or draw I was proud of the players fight today more than anything. Need to show this attitude at home every week as they do regularly away. If they do we could push top 8 again. The win is an unreal result, delighted for Adams
  8. Good to see the echo all over this...
  9. Thought we were excellent across the park. Great performance
  10. Very disappointing from Saints and a thoroughly deserved, easy win for a very average Arsenal side. Arteta tactically spot-on which is no great shock as we are dreadful and predictable at home. Felt RH picked the wrong team to start pre-game and we were tactically poor throughout. The playing squad and management team need to grow a pair & stop blaming the fan's for their own incompetence 3 seasons in a row at home. They are lucky that anyone bothers to pay and turn up at all. We have take a drastically different approach at St. Mary's as this run will ultimately relegate us sooner rather than later.
  11. Typical Southampton home performance so far, ponderous, slow and losing. Must be the fans. Had high hopes for Valery this season but he has had an awful season, KWP must be terrible in training not to even get a shot. Obafemi anonymous so far, bring on Long. Arsenal tactically on point.
  12. Turning down anything around 15m for Vestergaard would be criminal. I find it mind blowing that LCFC are interested. Did well on Tuesday after his schoolboy error, but in general he is awful & not suited to the premier league in anyway. Whoever scouted/championed his signing should be shot on sight.
  13. Stunning. performance of the season from saints to a man. Could have been 4 or 5.

    Che Adams

2 assists in 2 games with quality play to be fair to Adams. He was good when he came on but we need a few goals.

    Che Adams

Let's be honest, he has been pretty poor so far. I fail to see what his usp is? Being kind - no more than average speed, strength, touch, holdup play, passing at this level. Poor in the air, not enough shots, poor shooting, zero goals, 2 assists. Half a season gone. On the condition we can get a better player in then if Leeds want him, they can buy him or loan with an obligation to buy if they get promoted. Look forward to his winner tomorrow and a run in the team!
  16. Great read - ty
  17. Would go 4-3-3 as we did at Arsenal: McC Valery Bednarek Stephens Bertrand JWP Oriel Hoj Long Ings Boufal Redmond for Boufal if not fit Armstrong for Oriel if fit
  18. Clearly there are a lot of staffing links between the RB clubs & SFC right now, which is somewhat interesting. Both parties are clearly utilizing relationships which is a smart thing to do for all concerned. However regarding RB owning or part owning the club, file under extremely unlikely. 1, As it stands we would be a bad investment for 200m. 2, Their main rival Monster became our official drink partner recently. 3, Redbull would not be allowed to reinvent the club as they have done with others. The F.A/P.L would not allow it and neither would the fans. If RB were willing to significantly adapt their strategy for English football and it's history, then they would certainly be an interesting prospect to take over an English club....but there have been no credible links to this rumour at all.
  19. Signed. LM seems to divide opinion somewhat and I think the main reason for that is the Sunderland episode (correct me if i'm wrong). It was a bit before my time. His work at the club is unmatched and he has always done a lot in the community. I find his lack of involvement at the club very odd.
  20. Everyone expects 5 at the back tomorrow and can see why RH would do that. Probably won't happen, but time we gave 4-2-3-1 a go IMO. Looks more balanced, although CM in any formation is a concern these days. McCarthy Valery Bednarek Danso Bertrand Romeu JWP Boufal Armstrong Djenepo Ings Bench: Gunn Cedric Stephens Hojberg Redmond Long Adams
  21. Great opportunity missed as a good time to play spurs. Started 2nd half decent but pathetic last 20. Should have started valery once Cedric went down. A fair result. A Top half team would have beat spurs today and we are lower mid table at best. points wise we have about what I expected but performances have been worse.
  22. Tottenham used to hang microphones from the roof at WHL, wouldn't surprise me at all.
  23. Sad news, gone too soon. An incredible supporter of S.F.C. - rest in peace Leon.
  24. would be a great deal for us at 4m + wages off the books
  25. Am I the only one who feels McCarthy has been a bit hard done by? Only standout player in a **** side for the half-season he played in 17/18. Would have been relegated without him. Form dropped off a bit 18/19 granted, but still did ok.... I would have 20 players out the door before him.
