I remember listening to the saintsfc pod with Claus on it, he was asked what he thought of the recent Moi signing being a fellow Norwegian. He didn't outright say he was ****, but reading between the lines it was clear he didn't rate him. I actually feel a little sorry for him, 1st player I have seen for a long time who looks genuinely out of his depth.

Let's agree to completely disagree. IMO he is ok in the tackle, an absolutely liability in the air & not justat the back post either. Has cost us many goals directly through his pooraerial ability and failure to clear the ball when under pressure. Ourlads are rightly putting the ball into row Z or up the touchline if in anydoubt. I would again disagree and say the one thing he doesn't lack is attackingoutput. He has good control, makes good forward runs and is quick. Final ball ranges from the delightful to shambolic however. The most important opinion is that of the manager rather than anysupporter. It looks likely he doesn't rate Cedric from his actions andlack of support for the player in his Derby presser.

Saints have needed a new senior rightback for ages. Cedric has not impressed, especially defensively. Use Cedric as bait for Lookman if they are interested. Sign senior rightback from elsewhere.

Was disappointed when he went out on loan. Loan obviously didn't work out, rather odd as he has ability and speed as we have seen. Great opportunity now for him and we have a dirth of true wingers. Will be a useful addition to the squad i'm sure and the rest is up to him. Worst case if he doesn't impress Ralph this month then perhaps he will go out on loan again.

Sell both, neither suited to RH game. Austin has proved he can do a job for 20 minutes, but can't see him lasting much more than that. MG a saleable asset, but will probably take a loss. Austin will take a loss for sure, but both will be on decent $ freeing up some space in the squad and wage bill. Buy one quality striker. Ings, Long, Obafemi, Gallagher all suited to RH way.

I have been a fan of Ings since his Burnley days, he is a good player and looks technically better since his time at Liverpool. If the deal is indeed structured as advertised, with no get out clause in the event of serious knee injury re-occurrence, that was and is a massive gamble. So far so good, he has had a few niggles but just got on with it. If he can get a consistent run going I think we can see a bit more power and pace from him and even more goals. Hopefully the risk will pay off in spades, a really good start.
