It definitely isn't a scenario I want to happen either. I always want Saints to be in the top flight as they have for the majority of my life. Lot's of good people at the club would lose their jobs too and we would also be left with a few expensive turkeys no doubt. Unfortunately I think relegation would cleanse a lot of the main offenders above responsible for our demise. I can't really see us making progress until they have moved on to be honest, I hope I am wrong.

Where do we go from here? Irrespective of getting thrashed on Saturday, there are SO many issues within the football club right now that I have just have to get this **** off my chest! Owner - Seems completely oblivious to it all. Absent, seemingly uninterested and shady at best. KL - Her spin was she would only sell to a party that could kick us on and have the club’s best interests at heart - clearly ********. Chairman - Completely out of touch with the fan base and talks complete and utter ********. Some decent results on the balance sheet, but extremely fortunate not to have been relegated last season. Will never get a straight answer out of this ****. Les Reed - Had some credit in the bank from a lot of good previous work but has well and truly ****ed this up and then some by believing his own hype. Loves to preach how we do things better than everyone else but so quick to disappear when the going gets tough. Proceeded over some awful managerial appointments and made us nothing more than Liverpool's *****. Ross Wilson - Thanks to him, Les and our scouting network we have spunked tens of millions up the wall on **** players with **** attitudes over the last few years. He’s like a weatherman. Players - Handsomely paid but utterly ugly to watch, particularly at St. Mary’s where their “performances” have been utterly disgraceful for over 2 years. Other than a handful of exceptions they are absent in spirit and bottle, uninterested and lacking commitment. This team is supposedly average however IMO they have proved themselves to be nothing more than **** based on their performances and results. Manager – The fighting spirit he impressively installed in this lot has evaporated completely and shows no sign of returning. This season no identity, no idea of best team or squad, what formation to play and worst win % for years. Question marks over squad fitness. Need a minimum of 4 points from next 2 games IMO or time to go. All in all, an utter mess from top to bottom. We had the chance to make wholesale changes in the summer and not nearly enough was done. I want us to remain in the premier league but fear the only way wholesale changes will be made is if we go down. I am under no illusions if we go down things will still likely be very tough but struggling to see a way forward in the PL under the current employees at the top end of SFC. Really struggling to see where we can go from here to improve things in the long term.

I don't think he is a world beater, but he is better than most of the **** players that we have to watch week in week out. Deserves a run imo

Best position is in a 3 man midfield imo. Ok on the right of midfield too. Way too slow to play right back in this league IMO.

Agreed, excellent yesterday. His weaknesses are in the air usually and poor marking. Yesterday pretty much faultless. Always been a talented footballer. Hoet good too yesterday but Stephens shaded it for me.

3-5-2 back again, looked good last season. Looked hopeless in preseason and VS Burnley. Worth another go as we have been largely ****e all season in 4-4-2. Good to see Bednarek & Yoshida together, they would be my 1st choice pairing at this point as remain unconvinced by Hoet, Vestergaard. Stephens a 100%'er but none too convincing in the air or positionally.

How have we managed to stockpile 5 average-**** centre backs. Scrap that, whole ****ing squad. Hoet and Vestergarrd poor again, gifted 2 goals. Yoshida and Bednarek need to come in. Lemina terrible too, a few bright moments going forwards but undone by our own mistakes.

We pussied out because they paid. Sad state of affairs, should make a stand like Watford.

Zaha huge miss, they were really poor. We were decent until we scored yet again. Amazed we didn’t concede after the awful penalty miss. Up to 10th Hojberg excellent probably best game from him yet. Still a cheating **** tho, screamed like he broke his leg today...got straight back up. Ings great finish but obviously hampered by his foot

Disgusting dive which was a shame because he was having a decent game. IMO he should have fronted up to the fans and team and apologised publically. Gone down in my estimation and I'm surprised more hasn't been made of this. Diving is a cancer of the game at the top level and it is very, very sad the authorities seemingly give zero ****s

Worrying some of the comments on the o/s with the "unlucky" & "poor me" type of feel. Especially from the manager, we were not "outstanding" before their goal, we were ok and then went to **** as soon as we scored. We have got exactly what we have deserved from our 1st 3 games, 1 poxy point.

Credit to Redmond, I know the bar is low but I think he has been our best player so far this season.

We have 1 specialist right back in our squad. He is quick & sound on the ball, crossing ranges from delightful-dreadful but has there ever been a worse headerer of the ball at saints? How many goals have we conceded since he signed from his appalling efforts? Didn't even jump at Everton, today schoolboy. Last season numerous times. How the **** top clubs have been looking at him I have no idea. Bang average and abysmal in the air. NO competition for this player, has to play every week regardless of form....gross mismanagement.

Left side was our strength, Bertrand and Redmond had a very good game but had little support. Our right side was terrible all game. Lemina & Hoj were much better & more mobile than Romeu, but WTAF was Hoj thinking. Terrible at shooting, but to manage to get sent off for a blatant dive when clean through? Very let down & surprised by him - Hope he gets destroyed for that. Gives football a bad name, as do many other cheating ****s at this level. Ings and Long V. quiet today, credit to Leicester. Thought Hoedt was ok, better than Vestergarrd who got skinned easily many times and at fault for the last goal. I too thought the corners were poor, too straight and easy to defend. No surprise they scored both goals when they did. Our squad is full of average to poor premier league players and Leicester are a better team than us. I am a supporter of Hughes, he can only work with what he has got but his team/squad selections this season are bizzare. Clearly doesn't know his best team/squad or formation and only getting the team showing up in portions of games. I expected more solid decisions and stronger leadership from him. WTF is Yoshida? Gabbi? Gallagher? Another long, hard season awaits.

Thanks to all who make the effort to do a saints pod, but I think you guys have the best one - well done and thank you. Steve G and Adam L are overqualified to talk about Saints, so that is a great base to start from. Nitpicking but not a fan of the bastardised OWTSGMI!
