Looked ****. Throes were good, but not good enough. Whatever happens this season, the failure to attract a decent gk will have cost us at least double figures in points.

Would miss corky in cm, but Chambo and theo would roast yoshida.

I recognise the player but don't know a lot about him. Seems very much a southampton style signing these days if we have the funds. Wouldn't be cheap, but potentially sounds an exciting player if true. Could be just agent talk who knows?

Not a great performance, A for effort in 2nd half, D- for quality which has been poor the last 2 games. Why are we so hoofy at the moment. mentions to yosh, fonte again. adkins selections and tactics have been so random recently. Big point however

1st half no bad just poor in final 3rd, second half appalling from the players. Adkins got it tactically wrong and mon spot on. terrible result.

Woefull deliveries from de ridder. Honestly worried by this 2nd half. Appalling and sobering.

What a frustrating half, screaming my head off. playing into Sunderlands hands.

Definately worth a punt with adz out, best player i have seen in MLS - a bit weak mentally tho.

Just watched the 2nd half back and he and clyne were pretty much unplayable. Never thought he would turn it round to this extent in a million years. Get him signed up ASAP, fwiw I think we will.

Friedel or Robinson. Beastly quick cb (spend big), would like to see a dominant centre mid in the diame, mulumbu mould.

The shape of the team is much more solid. The defence and coaching staff must take huge credit, as well as the rest of the team. Biggest result of the season so far IMO.

Great point Ron & Duncan. I'm all for keeping your **** together but sometimes it seems Adkins is in denial. I am a saints player subscriber and its getting to the point where each interview, pre match etc is often the same and boring as hell. Lallanas was a lot more telling I thought.

Expected better performances last 2 games. Fonte other than the goal did great as did clyne. Offensively appalling for once, lallana had a bad game as did jrod in just 15 mins. Ramirez was poor and I rate the lad but surely Michu plus another 2-3 players would have made more sense? Luxury away from home? they played lambert well who was non existent and we struggled with his lack of pace. They were good 1st half but poor 2nd. They wanted it more and we showed too much respect.t They closed us down well but our retention was really poor.
