  1. He certainly hasn't raised my wrath, and saying "progressing" on his career just means moving on. Typical gutter press misinterpreting his words to form a sensationalist headline.
  2. Yup, dreadful. He only played in 35 league matches last season. Started 24 and subbed in 11. Chipped in with 6 goals and 2 assists.
  3. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/680032/Ronald-Koeman-Everton-supporters-fans-message-news-gossip Tim Krul seems to be preferred. Good keeper and no doubt cheaper.
  4. Blimey - another one talking utter billocks. There I was thinking that most people and not just those in the club, thought we had done rather well selling Lallana, Lovren, Shaw, Chambers, Schneiderlin. But oh no, we have some **** wits on Saints Web who moan, bîtch and complain about everything.
  5. Come on people, let's be real about this. He isn't upset at all, about going to EFC. I suspect in his eyes, his job at Saints was done. Two improvements and the chances are that it wouldn't happen this season. Not so good on the CV. Or rather, better on the CV to take a languishing EFC up the table (of course while being remunerated to a silly degree). Now if the above is the case, and he felt that he could not take us any further, then it's the right thing for all concerned that he moves on. He's probably right - I am not going to hold up LCFC as what can happen, as that is the exception that proves the rule - but I think it preferable to not have that attitude. Maybe the verbal agreement on the contract extension means all the above supposition is billocks, but there you are.
  6. You are talking out of your backside (and it is "weak" not "week").
  7. Are we just mentioning any old manager? How about Miodrag Božović?
  8. Only makes the club look petty in the eyes of those who put a lot of store in these statements.
  9. FF, I would be fascinated if you could give a fuller account.
  10. All this blaming the club...!!! The man was under contract, which does work both ways. If he wanted to see it out, he could have, despite the club wishing he would extend. He was not sacked. Quite the opposite, he had verbally agreed an extension to the contract (supposedly). He was the one that resigned. The club did not force him out the door.
  11. Not interested in Everton's manager. Never have been, and I doubt I ever will be.
  12. TBH, I don't really care. It's in the past and he is part of our history. You can look back if you want and cry over spilt milk, or you can look to the future.
  13. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3640823/Southampton-set-Graziano-Pelle-target-Frank-Boer-manager-s-job.html
  14. What has happened to FdB's old backroom staff? Did they resign along with him/be replaced/etc etc?
  15. Agree. And him trotting out the (tritely predictable) "ambition" is just a complete load of bollicks. A question: we are oft said to be punching above our weight. If that is so, how can our ambition be questioned? And what is our ambition and how does it differ from EFC? We want to win the league - LCFC have shown that it can be done, although more realistic is to finish top 4. We are not looking to finish 17th or above. So how exactly are our ambitions any different? Now the difference is how you get there. Do you work hard or just choose the easy route, splash the cash and buy in? Which is more ambitious?
  16. I like Redmond from what little I have seen of him. PLUS he is English.
  17. As the average life span of a PL manager (taking out Wenger) is about 2½ hours, then is it really a bad thing? The longest serving ones are Bruce, Howe and Dyche and then Mark Hughes (3 years). Then there is Karanka and Poch. After that, all under 2 years.
  18. I take it that Artur's not a fan. Do you think we'll see Irene posting back here? Or is "she" busy in France? BTW are those quotes bona fide or made up?

    Euro 2016

But no one is going to pay £65m for Lukaku.
  20. Stoke can **** off if they think that they are singing him
  21. Oh the irony of the loyalty bonus.
  22. Oh **** off Alpine

    Euro 2016

Do you think the Italians like their wingers to stick out wide???
  24. Quite...and if they don't want to take it because of what came before them, then they are the wrong man for the job.
