  1. Wonder if "she" is stalking the Liverpool boards seeing as they need a keeper!
  2. Maybe it is more to do with what Chelsea want for him.
  3. Lawro talks complete bollix the whole time. As usual he contradicts himself. So the team with the best defensive record outside of the top 3 is going to keep Saints from scoring too many, but then he doesn't think the team with THE best defensive record will be able to do better than them. Then the team with the 4th (equal) worst scoring record against the second best! So if you look at the stats, which Lawro does, then at this early stage it points to a home win. However, we all know that it isn't as easy as that. SFC GF19 GA5 GD +14 SCFC GF8 GA9 GD -1
  4. ^ and why can't he get another job after he hangs up his boots? It is this idea that football players at the top have some divine right to earn shït loads in a short playing career so that they never have to get a proper job, that somewhat pïsses me off.
  5. It was summed up by Ian Rush speaking about Balotelli. "He's not playing for any club, he's playing for Liverpool". It's this arrogance in thinking that they are better than anyone and everyone that puts me off them.
  6. LOL. PMSL. Carra, Souness and J Redcrap all looking stony faced!!
  7. Anfield's become very quiet. I thought this was a special European night. Are they all asleep?
  8. I know. I found myself laughing and clapping!!! I am sad and bitter, but still, lovin' it.
  9. Top defending by Lovren for nº3.
  10. It is good, and the nicest thing is that the club accommodated you all. As we all know, football is getting more and more removed from us supporters so it is nice when this happens and it can put away the money side of things.
  11. Oh dear. Commentators and fans equally flat and dejected. Shame, such a shame.
  12. Nice job by Lovren and Skrtel
  13. Reckon it will be a disappointing 0-4 result. Sky are spunking all over Liverpoo. ****ing sick making.
  14. 3 points against Stoke is the only thing I want. Far too early in the season to worry about others. But on a personal note, always like seeing utd,, Liverpool and Spurs to lose.
  15. Seriously looking forward to the Liverpool/Madrid game. I don't usually get interested in CL as it is staid and boring, especially in this stage of things where half the games are against L1 quality. (OK, maybe that is a bit harsh, but...). Hoping Ronaldo stitches Lovren up like a kipper numerous times. The only thing that I am not looking forward to is the nauseous and sycophantic commentary going on about glory nights returning to Anfield and how wonderful Liverpool are and all that sort of bollix. YNWA blah blah blah. I am sincerely hoping for a 0-5 or more. I'll settle for a 0-4 but anything less will be disappointing. Bitter? Sure, but I detest Liverpool as a club and their sense of entitlement and arrogance while looking condescendingly down on other clubs.
  16. I worry about Shaw, only up until I realise the fact that his remuneration package means that he is set for life. There were reports that some at the club had concerns about his physical state. After the 2012/13 season, he came into the 2013/14 being a much bigger lad. Huge increase in chest size. His body is still growing and I wonder whether it will grow in the right way. Sometimes you can peak early as your body growth becomes counter productive. So while a lot blame Nando's , which may or may not be the cause of things, I just wonder whether it is his growth phases that are causing this. It is easy to forget he is a teenager and that their bodies do strange things.
  17. While I am sure it won't make any sense at all (even with Google Translate), do you have any links to your local/national news? Would be interesting to see.
  18. Double standards from Fernandes after he joined in the fun with his tweet. But I guess that this is a final warning for 'Arry. Their next games..... Villa H Chelsea A Man City H Newcastle A Leicester H I would be amazed if he is still in a job come Leicester on 29th November.
  19. I would still love to have some tie up with Feyernoord and/or their ilk. They have to compete with the "elite" clubs of PSV and Ajax, and we have ours as well. They've won plenty domestically, the European Cup and the UEFA Cup twice - albeit not for a while. We have the financial muscle from the TV deal. I am sure that we could benefit each other somehow.
  20. Just seen your post on the other thread, and I left a cheeky message. Must be strange coming from Feyenoord. Your crowds are half as big again as ours and I am sure the atmosphere is more lively. But good game to choose to come to Saints! I will say that from about 5-0 it was all a bit strange - a sort of party atmosphere where you just knew more goals were coming and that it was going to be a day that you weren't likely to see again (re score wise).

LOL - I was about to ask whether you were the ugly one or the pretty one?
  22. I presume it was you in the dressing room on the matchday uncovered video.
  23. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/liverpool-vs-real-madrid-dejan-lovren-insists-liverpool-arent-scared-of-cristiano-ronaldo-and-co-9807266.html Well, Dejan ain't scared when I think he really should be.
  24. Following last weekend’s drubbing of Sunderland, the club has opened up extra seats to ensure as many Saints fans can be at this Saturday’s visit of Stoke City as possible. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20141021-stoke-tickets-and-hospitality-2028377.aspx This rather suggests that the club has taken the decision to keep block 43 closed when it need not have. Hopefully we will get 31k+
  25. He'll still waltz into the England squad.
