  1. Is Chainrai really that naive? I can't believe that he is so have always thought that there was something more to his involvement than met the eye. Maybe he was just naive and did just get conned.
  2. waiving securities - is this Fratton Park?

right - gassed the buggers so that should keep him/them away for a week or so until the next one comes. This is proper stuff you have to have a licence to use. The bloke who put it in who works around the place was talking about a machine he has that you can blow up the tunnels. I think that might be the trick. I did see a hill starting a couple of days ago. I should have gone for the shottie but tried to get the terrier on to it, but ever since she chased a cat up a tree, she is more interested in those than anything else. I like some of the ideas. Think concrete is the second best, after the pearl of wisdom suggesting a house move. Might pïss down the holes.
  4. Maybe Inter should pay Spurs directly!
  5. Will be interesting to see what happens......was always going to get to this stage, whether this month or next or the one after.......they haven't got enough money to meet the wage bill. The interesting bit will be to see if Chainrai will dip into his pocket to pay the wages. The answer is seemingly "no he won't" which possibly says a bit about his intentions. I know that he is not the owner of the club (yet!), but I am sure that he could make a loan should he have wished, even via the PFA who could have settled the wage bill.
  6. LOL - had a mate who put £5 in the pot thinking that they would be satisfied with that and go away and leave him in peace. Didn't quite work out that way!
  7. How much do Genoa owe and why are they withholding?

I am getting f@$$%%@@ed off with the little bastards digging up my lawn. As soon as I kill one (some hardcore"moth ball" type thing that gasses them) another moves in. It is always down the same run, year after year. There is now a depression in the lawn above this run because it is used so often. Must be like the mole equivalent of the M25 or something. Is there anything that I can do to stop them using this run and dissuading them from buggering up my lawn?
  9. Sorry Ginge, your guess is wrong. It was firmly tongue in cheek telling him to F'off. But I was trying to point out if you don't like being told off, that hitting someone is not the way forward.
  10. what is the most SMS could be expanded to (regardless of whether it would be filled)?
  11. not sure that it makes out that Saints are unpopular but maybe it just reinforces the stereotypical image of the typical football fan that the papers like to portray as seemingly it is good for their readership figures. If someone asks you to stop swearing you tell him to **** off rather than beating him up.

I have signed up because I couldn't be bothered to go through the process of getting a loan, choosing which system to install, installing it, servicing it etc etc. I am never going to put up these things for a 15-20 year pay off, but think that the compromise is acceptable, where I get cheaper electricity and they can get the rest. It depends on looks and how much electricity is paid for.
  13. I am a little confused about this talk about the stadium. Basically, why move? OK - I can see for increased capacity that a new stadium would be needed. I can't see any point increasing SMS to 40k odd as the cost to do this wouldn't be worth doing. (What actually is the max that SMS can be expanded to?) So if you were going for a 50-60k stadium then it would be worth doing. But being realistic, do we need a stadium that big? Would we regularly fill it? When we were in the PL, we did confound those who said we would have a half empty stadium, but this is asking a lot to get up to 50-60k. Maybe if the plans to be in the Champions League (a little risible I think) then we would have some top players and the JCLs will turn up. Why does the council have to tart up the area around SMS? What does NC want? What are the plans? etc etc
  14. I'd give her one.
  15. I'll do it if I can remember!! Brain is like a sieve these days
  16. Think that the below should feature on the list, esp Charlie G. John Burridge Ulrich Van Gobbel Charlie George
  17. I agree that ADHD is used by parents too easily for children they can't control. As mentioned this detracts from the real sufferers (if there are any but as it doesn't affect me and my family and I have other afflictions to concern me, I haven't gone into the ins and outs) more so than any other disorder. I suppose coming in second place is dyslexia where too many people claim to be so in order to cover their lack of knowledge, laziness etc. Again there are genuine "sufferers" but they sort of get over looked because people without it use it as an excuse too often. Cry wolf.
  18. I thought most of the time that KD was at fault for not calling. But either way, there seemed to be a problem. KD might just have had a bad day.
  19. I wouldn't say it was bottom left from where I was standing (and I called it right which way he was going). It was sort of half way to the corner and if he had gone the right way it would have been quite easy to save. But the biggest problem for me last night was that there seemed to be a lack of or no communication between KD and the defence.
  20. Just back - we were pretty bad from Kelvin to Ricky. When AL came on as sub, things did change for the better and I thought RL sparked up a bit. He seemed to have got a bit frustrated earlier on in the game and I would possibly have subbed him rather than LB. If we play like that, I can't see any chance of getting promoted. There seemed to be a lot of people static wanting the ball when they were in a dead end. When we scored, the build had some good passing that was sorely lacking from most of the rest of the game. Disappointing. A very poor game.
  21. Makes sense - not sure how many people would "give away" £25m odd and I always wondered why Gayboy agreed to a CVA.
  22. I have some Cheech and Chong videos (but no longer a video player) if anyone wants them.
  23. why the cambelt change at such low mileage?

And I'll add a little extra on top....
  25. Labour created 850k new public sector jobs (a total of about 6.1m). The government can't afford them, so some jobs have to be lost. Interesting that similar jobs pay 7% better in the public sector (a gap that has doubled since the recession began). I get the feeling that those in the public sector think that there jobs should be safeguarded at the expense of those in the private sector. And then you have the pensions.................................!!!!!!! And as soon as a Union leader starts talking about bankers taking millions home, then you really know that he has an agenda or is stupid or both.
