Pilch, to me, just because one player is so overpriced, it doesn't mean that they all will be.

Lets face facts..... Everton tried to strong arm Barkley into signing a contract extension. When he didn't, he was told he was surplus to requirement. In the summer, Everton tried and almost succeeded in stiffing Chelsea for a ridiculous sum, given the length of contract. He was injured at the time, either he, Chelsea or both pulled out of the deal and said lets wait a few months - you'll be cheaper, you can earn more, just that Everton won't get so much. So the player looks after himself, after the club had told him that he was surplus to requirements. And while he is complaining about how mean agents have been to a Liverpool team, I hope that he is also going to be complaining about Van Dijk's agent who broke the footballing laws. Truly pathetic and why I look at that city with derision. I thought that this was a **** take and before posting I had best check. Sadly it is true...http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/joe-anderson-writing-fa-ross-14125852 Pathetic self-entitled idiots. PS - in fairness, the comment section is rather scathing of him and his populist action.

And? We, like other clubs, rarely have to pay in any other manner than in instalments.
-
It's been obvious for a long time that we need to bring some people in. I realise that transfers aren't easy, but we have had enough time to sort things out before the season gets any older.
-
I'm hoping he is a stalking horse.

We're not going to be trumpeting that we have shed loads, as that pushes prices up. Better to say we are skint.

Good one Crab

Well that's what £180k vs £65k does to you.

Thought it was more Jonathan Woodgate

Oh don't be stupid Daft K. We can never match the likes of Liverpool on wages. And that is all you need to know. So stow the what ifs, it just isn't the case.

Lallana looks like a twàt

PS - and let's not forget about poor Mr Lovren.

BBC commentators must be glad that the match is about to start as they have shot their bolt numerous times.

This stadium revamp / improved customer experience.

I think I have been doing it all wrong. I turn up (usually try and time it 10 mins before KO so that I can avoid an aural assault by the SFC version of "My Way") and watch the football and go home feeling depressed. BUT if I tucked into a pie, I would go home happy. -
I am sure that the club, as Pilch says, could do some welding after discussing with the police so that we could be like LCFC as below. Aren't they exactly the same grounds or are there some differences? LCFC would appear to put the away fans in what would be the Chapel end & Kingsland corner. Good idea as well. Might liven up the family section a bit, which is embarrassingly quiet. I imagine a lot of it is getting supporters in and out of the ground, and as the supporters coming by train come in via the north, Chapel/Kingsland won't happen.

He put some decent tackles in, couldn't cross that well and generally did OK.

Ta SKD - didn't realise that it was the police

Always said that we should do was Leicester do in their virtually similar stadium. Put them in the Northam corner and Itchen Corner, and have the home support much further across the Northam.
-
I reckon it will be 3 from...WBA, Stoke, us and Bournemouth. However, IF we can get 2 or 3 wins, then it all changes.
-
I'm sure hearing the Northam singing "sacked in the morning" will not have been missed

Well, put it this way, I only turn up because I have paid for a season ticket. I don't really have the same passion for football that I used to, so if we get relegated I will not be renewing. If we stay up, I might renew for one more season. If not, I will save myself £1500. There, if anyone at the club bothers to read this, that's 2 tickets less, and I suspect there will be a few thousands more like me, maybe 10s of thousands. So if you provide us with ****, then we won't be turning up. Simple really.

Oh i don't know, Soton has a certain je ne sais quoi about it (admittedly I am not sure quite what that is yet but I am sure it does).

Liverpool agree world-record £75m deal for Virgil van Dijk

Absolutely SW5, hence why I did wonder whether it might be sending messages to the bench of either not wanting to be injured pre-move. -
Liverpool agree world-record £75m deal for Virgil van Dijk

In the few games that he played for us, I was surprised to see on a couple of occasions that he was feeling his leg/foot after a challenge as if his injury wasn't quite right and properly mended. TBH I still have no idea what the injury was, and am not sure if it was ever publicised, which is strange in itself. -
looking at things, he has retweeted someone saying the fee is £35m !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! **** me.
