thought it already had! season over - we'll end up with zero points - NA + NC are complete tools - all the players are crap - no vision / ambition - doomed for ever :-) Did I forget anything? We have waited for this for 7 years, and at times it seemed we would never get there, and yet some people can't wait for us to leave the PL soon enough! I for one am going to enjoy this season to the full, whatever the outcome - we have waited long enough, let's just enjoy the moment.

Simple solution - why don't we agree the loan repayments directly with the Italian Bank for the non-upfront amount over three years (assuming rates and conditions are usual standard ones)? That way we get our staged payments, Bank gets agreed payments from very credit worthy firm, and Bologna get their overdraft extended to the tune of said "loan". All in return for full ownership of the player now of course! Must be a reason / rules /regulations preventing this, as I am sure NC being a banking/finance expert would have thought of it!

Calm down Minsk. You will see that I have been a member since 2007 with less then 200 posts, so hardly a troll or someone with an agenda. As far as I know I have never upset anyone on here as yet - you might be the first :-) I am not saying Kelvin is useless, as I said I hope it was a once off. Yes he saved a penalty, but come on anyone (including me) could have saved the poorest pen I have seen in a long time, and most of his saves were pushed back out to the City forwards. The build up to this season on here has been about having previous Prem experience as key to our success (more so than youngsters with potential), and one of our most experienced Prem players IMHO failed us today - which as I said is hopefully a bad day at the office (which we all have).

As I posted on another thread, I feel Kelvin was the poorest Saints player today and seemed really unsure, which maybe affected the rest of the team. Really poor game and did not inject any confidence in the defence. Hope it's just a once off.

Personally I thought the worst Saints player today was Kelvin - looked really nervous and at least partly in fault for two of the goals. Just hope it was an off day!

Had a dream that it was 2-2 in the first game, so I'm going to place a bet for that result for what it's worth (sorry can't recall who got the goals). Dream aside I don't believe we will be embarassed at City.

As I understand it (and I am sure there will be plenty to correct me if I am wrong), we (the selling club) are still responsible for paying out the full contract (on a weekly basis) even if we sell the said player! So Dickson would get whatever his contract with Saints is worth, plus the new club wages. So, if we are unlikely to ever use him in the PL, best we get what we can - hopefully cover the remaining wages under present contract - which if thereis a massive increase due too promotion may be the issue? But surely better to re-coupe what we can (if he is unlikely to ever play in the PL). Maybe Dicky wants the cash, and the twit is a "face saver"??

Naw better to play Bray (as we did a few years ago) - only 10 mins for me to get there :-) Exiled Saint in Ireland (bit of a ring to that??), and you are a leper unless you support one of the big 4 or Hoops or have any famous Irish players in your team - apparently DC did not count??

Pretty much - remember when A Cole left Arse for CFC as they would not match the $150K per week and that was some years ago, and Kalou was a hot shot bought for top money and wages I would imagine. Of course I cannot be sure, but it will not be less than 150K per week, and the point is still valid.

Way over priced IMHO :-)
