I asked Matt himself about this. He said that when he asked Branfoot later about it, he replied that he could not remember. A couple of weeks after that game I was on the coach to an away game and I was talking to someone who sat right behind the dugout. He said that Moody was stripped off and they had the number 7 board ready. If you see the Sky replay of the first goal you can see a shot of Branfoot with a wry smile and he turns round and says 'sit down' to Moody.

That's where I have a problem with Branfoot. He never really believed in Le Tiss. He was just about to substitute him when he scored those two against Newcastle, and I was at Highbury when he preferred Moody to Matty. It was embarrassing.

That's perfectly possible. If that's not the case then there would never be any fouls because there would never be any intent. If the challenge is enough for the other player to take evasive action or to prevent that player from reaching the ball then that can be considered a foul.
-
We all know that's not true. Just repeating it over and over again don't make it so.
-
There does not have to be contact for it to be a foul. 'Trip or attempt to trip'

Less than that. 80mA through the skin, 40mA through the body. If you're going to get a shock, make sure it's not across the chest. I used to design and work on 8kV avionic power supplies and to this day I still work with one arm held behind my back. I've had four 240V shocks and I don't want another one.

Me too, South Malé atoll. You?

For the weather and the relaxation. The same goes for the Maldives and countless other places.

There was but the government decided to spend money on other things that they considered more important.

Saints 1-0 Leeds Utd - Post Match Reaction
Whitey Grandad replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
I missed the two previous home games so I was disappointed that we didn't score five. -
It used to have a reputation for food poisoning but I'm told that it's not so much of a problem these days. Airport transfers can be quite long and tedious but it does have some of the best beaches in the world. Like most of that part of the world, especaially Jamaica, be careful if you go out after dark. In the complex you should have no problems. Next time try Antigua or Barbados, they're much friendlier. Oh, and have a great time!

I think that's a reasonable summary. You don't get it PES, do you? I'm pleased for you that you enjoyed your day but for most of us here it was a mildly curious sideshow. We are relaxed in the knowledge that we are sailing off serenely to better waters whilst you are drifting on to the rocks with no sails, no engine, no paddles and a leaking hull.

There were certainly some bizarre decisions yesterday. I was calling for a penalty when Jaidi scored so I was thinking what a great decision it was from him to let play continue for a couple of seconds in case we scored. Silly me. And what the heck was that assault on the back Harding in stoppage time? I'm not talking about the two-handed push but the off-the ground aerial chalenge.

How many games do we win and how many draws?

Saints 1-0 Leeds Utd - Post Match Reaction

I was watching it live and a couple of channels disappeared so I watched our goals on terrestrial. BBC1 came back after a few minutes. -
Yes, that's almost 10 days.

Quite right. Good Luck master B. Never, ever give up trying.

Age has a lot to do with it. You're never too old to learn That's one of the reasons I come here.

I take your point. So providing that the original equipment was installed safely and correctly then replacing with another hob is ok, always provided that the new unit does not take significantly more power than the previous?
-
Is a hob not a 'cooker'?
-
Well spotted! There's always someone that misses it, and misses the bus as well.
-
That's just the first part. The second goes on to define this sort of work as notifiable.

To illustrate the type of problem that can occur, a few years ago an unfortunate woman was electrocuted when she emptied her dishwasher. As she bent down she steadied herself with her left hand by holding on to a metal kitchen-tool rack and her right hand touched the earthed inside of the dishwasher. The tool rack was live because one of the mounting screws had gone through a live cable which had previously been fitted diagonally across the wall, against the regulations. These regulations are there for a reason, and it's not just to keep people in paid employment.

I saw something recently about an imminent deal for the Far-Eastern TV rights to the Premiership, something over a billion £ was it? If that happens then the football world will be turned upside down. It'll be like sharks in a feeding frenzy.

Kitchens, gardens, bathrooms. Too many people have been killed by faulty installations. The IEE (now IET) is my professional institution, I'm a Chartered Engineer, but even I would get it professionally installed and checked. It's not worth the risk. This is your life, and your family's.
