  1. I should have thought that if he was involved in discussions of any sort regarding out position then that was a perfectly valid ground for appeal. Just excusing himself from a vote is not enough, and he knows it.
  2. Alan Whitehead said as much yesterday...
  3. Steve Williams? How far back are we allowed to go?
  4. It's little details like this that determine whether or not the two bodies are 'inextricably linked'
  5. That's what it has felt like, to me.
  6. Not for me. The last few games have highlighted his lack of motivational skills and League 1 would be completely alien to him. We need someone who understands English lower-league football and has contacts in the English football world, but we've been saying this all season.
  7. That's an interesting question. Bridge, Beattie, Walcott? Any others?
  8. I take your point. What I was wondering was at what stage the freehold would revert to the mortgagers.
  9. Technically, haven't we already lost the stadium?
  10. But we won the cup when we were at the Dell, so finishing runners-up could be called 'going downhill'. It is stretching it a bit, though.
  11. It's either 'Agreed' or 'a greed'
  12. What I want to know is where this 'competitive advantage' went, because I certainly didn't see any.
  13. If he bought the club do you think anybody would want to watch the team after all that he's been responsible for?
  14. Give it time
  15. They're in a different league to us.
  16. You didn't mention Tottenham a few years ago. What was it originally? 12 points deduction and a whopping fine? Even the ground stewards at the time knew that it would never be implemented. Weren't Swindon demoted one year when Hoddle had won them promotion?
  17. The law was only changed recently. Before that an appeal could not lead to an increased sentence.
  18. That's a good idea! We need all the extra revenue that we can find.
  19. But if a buyer for the Club can be found in the immediate future then why should the club be punished just for the administration of the landlord? From what little I have read, it would seem that the League have taken this decision because they feel miffed that Grant Thornton say that they haven't been given access to the figures. This smacks to me of politics. It would not surprise me if Rupert had put a few backs up during his time at Soho Square.
  20. What a ghastly thought. Was this our worst season in living memory?
  21. How would that help?
  22. Now I'm getting angry..... Ok, one more time. The fans cannot be blamed for this mess in any way, shape or form. You simply cannot blame the customers for not buying the product if the product is cr@p. Perhaps if the incompetents who have been trying to run this club had realised that sooner then we might not be in this mess.
  23. Thanks and farewell.
