Ouch, if they play him in the cup he would be no use to us in the later stages of our cup run!
-
I fully support your case for going outside at halftime, but please don't ever think that car exhausts cause anywhere near the pollution that smokers used to create on the concourses.
-
Now you're sounding like Rupert...
-
and I thought that was coffee!
-
As someone once said, 'having smoking areas in a pub is like having p!ssing areas in a swimming pool'
-
Just a question of degree.
-
Would you like it if I sprinkled blue asbestos dust all over you?
-
You can't compare a bus exhaust with what the concourses were like before the ban. They were a pernicious health hazard.
-
I can understand your problem if you need to feed your addiction, but I've had over 50 years of breathing in other people's carcinogenic exhausts and all I ask is that for the few years that are left to me and for the sake of future generations you and others in your situation can find the strength to forbear for a couple of hours or better still, give it up.

Better than anything we've got and has experience of getting West Ham promoted, of course we'll have him but I can't see it somehow.
-
I think it's past that, it's already pended.
-
They certainly didn't show the Reading handball. I can only think that the ref didn't see it.

I'm sure they would be delighted for you to suscribe, all you need is your SKY viewing card number: https://subscribe.setanta.servecast.com/setanta/mainSection0.aspx

Why are we continuing to defend the away fans end in the second half.

We don't score in front of anybody. -

If you win the toss you have choice of ends. It used to be that you could choose to kick-off but that went some time ago and apparently Tony Adams took some seasons to learn about the change in the Laws. Most teams have an agreement that whoever wins the toss will choose to kick towards their own fans in the second half unless there is a clear advantage in changing it such as sun in the eyes, rain in the face, a strong wind that might die down. -

That Northam lot can get quite noisy, some of them even cheer and sing at times. You don't get much of that where I sit. -

The idea is to create a 'wall' of support behind both goals so that neither end offers an advantage to the away lot. Unfortunately we have a large number of corporate seats that go unused outside the Premiership. I've had my Kingsland seats since we migrated from the Dell. The view's ok, but nowhere near as good as the old place! (and the football was better, but dont get me started.) -
Let this be a lesson to you all about the demon drink! I heard of one young girl who woke up with the television on the shopping channel and her credit card lying beside the 'phone!

Then we could have home fans behind both goals. This was all debated when we move to St Mary's and there were many who didn't like the present layout. It doesn't bother me, I'm one of the fuddy-duddies halfway along the Kingsland. -
Yes, I've been impressed by him lately. I still think he's too lightweight for a full-back, wasn't he flattened for the Reading goal yesterday?

push them round the corner - there are plenty of empty seats there now! -

The away fans go down to pitch level and around behind the goal. Additionally, there is a large clearance gap between them and the Northam hardcore supporters. I have some photos of Strasbourg FC which show how it should be done - wire fencing and all that stuff. -
Bristol City have advanced plans for a new stadium. It will be interesting to see how they manage when they have a big mortgage hanging around their necks.

Yup, there were a lot of complaints about it at the time. We are too nice to the opposition, the away fans should be stuck up in the corner at the back of the stands like we are at Newcastle, Tottenham, Chelsea, Man Utd. etc. Er sorry, that should read 'like we used to be at ...'
