We shall miss you... :smt089 ...and you'll be leaving a league 1 tin pot club.

Many of us have been saying this all season. I did notice another extravagant expense yeterday. There were packs of bottled water along the touchline. What's wrong with refilling the bottles ffs? There's a river not more than 100yds away.

I wouldn't like to pick a MOM. I thought that for once they all played like a team. The shape was good and consistent, until the subs perhaps. In was impressed by the way that the forwards and midfield closed down the opposing fullbacks. At one point in the second half there were several crunching blocks in succession which really got the crowd going. Even McG left the pitch to warm applause. For me, what made the difference was the presence of the experience and professionalism of Skacel, Euell and Saga. For sure, James could have got higher up the pitch before launching the ball in and it was some time before I realised that Lallana was playing. If Gillett cold pass to his team-mates more he could be an outstanding player. If I had to pick one it would perhaps be Euell.

who wants us to go into admin and/or wotte to fail
Whitey Grandad replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
If Wotte fails then Saints fail and no genuine Saints supporter could want that. The same can be said for administration. That doesn't mean to say that I like Wotte or the style of football that we have been playing this season, but if we were winning every game then I wouldn't care to managed the team or who owned the club. -
It stopped them being promoted in their first season, tbh

That's what I mean, you can compare the ticket stubs with the amount of clicks. The clicks are quicker though. There used to be a 'scam' at some grounds where you could clip the gatekeeper a note and he'd let you climb over (allegedly).

We all hand over a bit of paper at the turnstiles, both ST and individual purchases. Somebody could count those?
-
a) Things got worse in Lowe's last couple of years YES, obviously b) Things improved under Wilde's tenure NO mood improved but results average c) Things improved under Crouch's short Tenure YES slightly but from a low base d) Things have got better since Lowe has come back NO definitely not

That's how I see it. The Easter programme has traditionally been a time when relegation and promotion issues are decided.
-
Showing 16p at the moment. What does that vaule us at?
-
So 'Beware the Ides of March' (15th, to save us looking it up again). That is going to be a difficult decision then since we won't be definitely down at that time. (sarcastic smiley thing)

Yes, I have been toying with various results and I've tweaked it a bit further. Above 4th from bottom it's pretty tight so I think we're 'safe' until then. It looks like the away game with Blackpool is crucial, then. Win that and we should be safe for another week. Derby 38 -2 53 Notts For 40 -6 53 Crystal Pal 38 7 52 Coventry 39 -2 52 Plymouth 40 -8 52 Swansea 40 6 51 Norwich 40 -3 51 Watford 39 -4 51 Barnsley 38 -7 51 Blackpool 40 -10 51 Sheff Wed 40 -12 48 Charlton 39 -18 39 Saints 39 -28 28

Perhaps they'll have you back? It's worth a try.
-
21st March is a possibility. Coventry p 39 gd -3 pts 50 Sheff Wed 40 -12 48 Charlton 39 -18 39 Saints 39 -28 28

Ta for that. Easter Monday would suit me, I'll be cruising around the Canaries then. It means I'm wasting my season tickets but I've been doing that all season and I can't bear to watch a loved one fade away.
-
So, Saturday evening then . Surely, in theory, if we lose every game from now on (unlikely, I know, but humour me) and all the other results go against us in the worst possible way there will be a date on which we can all relax and accept the inevitable?
-
On a lighter note.... has anybody worked out the earliest date by which we can be mathematically relegated?
-
I think we know now, don't we?
-
I wasn't as negative with JP as Wotte. I suppose you could call that 'more positive'
-
Csdajfu ?
-
Anything that we don't know already?
-
Saints 1 - Preston 1 A good spirited performance but still not what we need. I think that the players will be feeling the willy-jips by this stage and won't be playing free-flowing, confident exciting football. The instant we're mathematically relegated it'll all come back to them.

According to some on here, Lowe's biggest mistake was being born.
-
And if it's less than a point a game you must be really, really crap.
