Indeed it is. Still only 31

Why we should sign him and then not play him.
-
Phew! That’s all right then.

That has already gone. The ship has sailed and is way over the horizon. The train has left and is already in a different country. The waggon train departed days ago and there isn’t even a dust cloud left behind. Need I go on?

Maitland-Niles' nightmare in Nottingham
Whitey Grandad replied to Fraser Spinney's topic in The Saints
From what little I’ve seen of him he looked solid if unspectacular. Which is exactly what we have needed. None of this ‘too clever by half’ experimental stuff. -

Indeed. What was needed was another full back. What was wrong with playing Bree? -

Defensively it was a complete mess. All their goals game through the left back position where a specialised full back should have been. -
How do you think he felt when Bednarek gets recalled to replace him?

£380 best seats for seniors. That’s the way to do it.

Sometimes these deals are made as a favour to the selling club. Think of it as money laundering.
-
Ah, but is that because there were no home fans to get on their backs, or because there were no away fans to cheer on the opposition?
-
But it doesn’t mean that if you train for 10,000 hours you are going to be brilliant at what you do. Some people will never learn.

Mozart was a musical genius from a very early age. I doubt that it was down to the training he put in.
-
And if such players want a better move then they should put on a good showing of themselves.
-
One thing to thank him for.
-
I disagree. He was not match fit and nowhere up to speed. He cost us results over the first couple of months back.
-
Why are we paying him if he can’t play?
-
That’s barking mad. Once you’ve sent your lads over the top it’s up to them to know what to do. That’s what training is for.
-
To be fair, that could have been taken at any home game.
-
Somebody will come along to wake you up. It happens at most home games.

All Saints fans are deluded. It goes with the territory.

Did I see that Alan Pardew is available?

He was left of centre for the first, but woefully exposed nonetheless. Bazunu is more agile and would have made a better attempt at the others. McCarthy is scared of the ball, or rather, scared of getting hit by it. If you look at all his efforts he makes a show of trying to save it but somehow manages to get out of the way. My father explained to me many years ago that a lot of keepers don't want to get hurt by the ball, and if you look more carefully you wll see what he meant.
