Electronic public information displays. Basically, anywhere that lots of people gather and need to be informed. Our main product line is captioning systems for theatres, which had of course been closed for over a year.
-
Why not? Do they not count towards our goals for at the end of the season?
-
My industry. I’ve had three on furlough but two of them have now been made redundant so they are no longer on furlough now that they’re on notice.

Oh FFS 🤬 Why, oh why, oh why??? We could have had two proper keepers next year instead of a bag of nerves and Alex McScaredshitless.

There's a Danish island called Romø just north of the border with Germany where people park on the beach. There are also a couple of Danish lads with a 4x4 and a long rope who hang around waiting for the tide to rise. They charge to tow stranded vehicles to safety. As the tide rises so does the price. If the driver is German the price is even higher.

Julius Caesar had the same problem when he did his first armed reconnaissance of Brittania in 55BC. As a Mediterranean he was surprised by the height of the tides off Walmer. His beached warships filled with water and his anchored transports were driven against each other.

They were ordered in plenty of time but like anything electronic coming from the Far East there are horrendous delays. First Covid and now all the transport problems.
-
The new concourse screens have been delayed as well. Now expected October at the soonest. The large stadium scree6were upgraded a few years ago.

He tried to get out of the way and couldn’t quite manage it in time. It’s very kind of you to call it a shot. More of a back pass.

Malik Taylor was better than Paul Jones but when Dave Jones took charge he brought in Paul Jones from Stockport because he had promised him that if he ever managed a top club he would take PJ with him. Beasant wasn’t bad either. If the net wasn’t there McCarthy would end up in the front row of the crowd.

Why complain that the owner isn't spunking money up the wall? Or is a 'Fit and Proper' person only one who has more money than sense?

The queues for Turnstile F at 1:30 were as long as any that I have known but moved on smoothly. One entrance was reserved for the exclusive paddy seaters but by the time that we got nearer the steward very kindly invited us all to use it. I told him that this situation wouldn't last long. The tickets worked OK but I assume that was because I presented the barcode side to the green light. I don't think it used NFC.

Impressive, and so is the fact that we have spent £157 million.
-
We trained him well
-
To be fair, I didn’t notice any near me.
-
There were a few empty seats around but not that many. Not quite a full house but not far off it.
-
Well I’m willing to sign a new contract but I’m even worse that McCarthy. Not by a lot though

Some day a goalkeeper will win the Golden Boot as well as the Golden Glove.
-
That will have taken a lump out of the transfer profits.

There are so many people on their smartphones at St Mary's that you struggle to get a data signal. Those who put their faith in technology often overlook the lack of a connection. Covid passes will not be needed until October at the earliest and even then only if the government makes them obligatory. The current club campaign is just to get the fans thinking about the Covid situation.
-
McCarthy was all over the place yesterday. And not in a good sense.
-
To be fair, we do need one.
-
Good point. Let’s give it a go.

One Saturday night I was ringing round the players to tell them that the game was off the next morning. When I got to our goalkeeper he said “I wouldn’t have been able to play anyway. My daughter died this morning”. She was only two years old. It still upsets me.

I thought it would have been worth lobbing a couple of balls forward for Armstrong to chase. After a couple of close opportunities or maybe even a goal for us the United defenders would have had to drop deeper which would have relieved the pressure on us somewhat.
