Exactly this.
He has improved. Last season he went chasing after everything instead of sticking to his man. Now he tries to hang on to him but still gets beaten.
Then he needs to wise up a lot. There are ways to block a run which, whilst not actually illegal, are pushing the laws a stretch. Grabbing hold of a shirt is likely to concede a penalty.
It’s a basic principle. ‘Shoot hard and low on sight of goal’.
Kelvin as manager? No thanks. It would be a massive gamble and we’ve had too many of those recently.
I’ve been in South America and the Falklands in the last couple of weeks and I have seen some moving memorials in Ushuaia and Buenos Aires to those Argentinians who lost their lives in this conflict. Whatever the rights and wrongs we can feel sympathy for those who were thrust into the situation.
There are similarities to Branfoot. A clueless approach to the game and regularly leaving your best players on the bench.

I'm not bovvered. I hate the Premier League and all that it has become. 3 o'clock kickoffs on a Saturday please and no messing around for TV

Definitely not. The football under Puel was dire and I have not forgotten the feeble European campaign nor the gruesome capitulation to Arsenal in the FA Cup before a ball was kicked.
