  1. There is no equivalent in the centre.
  2. But we could play a lot better and try to be competitive.
  3. Is that actually legal?
  4. But we could at the very least make a go of it instead of pandering to someone’s ego.
  5. Leaving Saints to one side, I find most of the Premier League games to be dull and stupefying. Man City may be winning everything but by God they are a struggle to watch.
  6. He’s too busy staring at himself in the mirror.
  7. If only we were aware of that.
  8. I believe that being offside is factual but interfering with play is subjective and the decision rests with the onfield officials.
  9. I haven’t watched it but I can only see 24. That’s over 7 games and 630 minutes so one goal every 26 minutes or so. Or maybe you’re counting goal replays in that? Anyway, there’s more to exciting football than just the odd goal now and again.
  10. Unbeaten does not mean winning lots of points. We didn’t gain on our rivals. We got what we deserved against Newcastle. Over the whole game a draw against Ipswich was all we deserved.
  11. Very little one-touch football. Safety first tactics. the commentators mentioned a couple of weeks ago that coaches don’t like shooting from distance because the statistics show that you’re less likely to score. Well if you don’t have a shot you’re never going to score. Are you reading this Russell?
  12. If the manager won’t change then the manager must be changed.
  13. You can’t keep stirring the pot hoping that it’s eventually going to set.
  14. Stats, stats, stats. They’re meaningless.
  15. Mentally overwhelmed.
  16. My inverted picture problem again. Just the Lower tier open this afternoon About 22,000 apparently although acres of empty seats
  17. Warming up force Whitecaps this afternoon. I have a Saints scarf with me. He saw it and gave me a smile.
  18. What? How do you think they have been trained for as long as we can remember?
  19. Where has he been all our lives?
  20. Yes
  21. Only one person to blame for that.
  22. That's ridiculous. Not because he's a bad player but because it's yet another change. He just wants to give everybody a game before he gets sacked.
  23. He may be managing in the Premier League but he's not a Premier League manager.
  24. "Otherwise well"? Apart from that Mrs Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play? He hasn't improved in the slightest. Championship was his upper limit.
  25. He's just not very good. His inevitable mistakes and lack of discipline cause us problems. I've never forgotten the way he rushed off and left Ibrahimovic unmarked for that third goal at Wembley.
