The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
Whitey Grandad replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Er… no In general Inheritance Tax will be paid by selling readily convertible assets such as property. Not by selling the tools of the trade such as tractors. You are correct in saying that this new act of grave robbing will affect family businesses too. -
Things that annoy you about Kit Kats

Just a reminder… a thumb is not a finger. There’s always one. -

It’s not £3m though is it. Inheritance Tax has to be paid in £ notes and not in muddy furrows. -
That’s one way of describing a marriage betrothal.

She knew the value that could be got out of an old ruin 😊 She sadly passed away in October last year but she’s still with me in many respects.

If the club think everything’s fine and they were to follow Ankersen’s teachings then they’d get rid of him. -

Does there? The only way is to develop slowly and steadily within our own capabilities. what some might call Post Neo-classical Endogenous Growth.
-
The loss is that watching this turgid sludge is boring as shit. I’ve seen washing machines on a rinse cycle that were more exciting.
-
So I cannot expect to see us in the Premier League again until 8 years from now?
-
Or… The table’s upside down and the rest of the football world is marching out of step with us.
-
That sort of reinforces the point. The ponytail only confirms it.
