  1. Not his fault at all but it's on his record now. He's always been very dignified. Good luck to him if he's allowed another chance.
  2. Yes, I've seen plenty of other keepers saving that sort of kick.
  3. Perhaps Bart could play centre forward? Only joking.
  4. I think Norwich changed quite a few of their players after promotion. The choice of whether to spend depends on circumstances. Didn't Blackpool decide to keep mainly the same team and spend on infrastructure instead?
  5. That's what the money's for. It's the other way round on relegation.
  6. If we do achieve what was unthinkable at the start of the season then we shall need almost a whole new team. If somehow it all goes apesh1t then we have a very good Championship team.
  7. Well he fell into a defender because he was tripped. Without the trip Adam could have had a shot at goal from the edge of the area. It was a definite professional foul and he got away with it. If I had been the ref I would have given a yellow, which would have been his second of the match.
  8. What happens if we get promoted and then relegated? Will we be ahead or behind the plan?
  9. That's unlikely. Normally when there's a card to be dished out a referee will go straight for it. In most cases his mind will have been made up almost as son as he blows his whistle. This incident yesterday was not even debatable, for any referee at a top level that's straight yellow at the very least.
  10. No it didn't. That looke offside to me at the time and it looked offside in the replay. Also the whistle was blown before he shot so nothing was disallowed.
  11. It's not just the lack of a sending off, Adam would have had a real chance of scoring. It was as clear a professional foul as you will ever see.
  12. The only decision was red or yellow. What was he thinking?
  13. As Warren Buffet said: “I want to give my kids enough so that they could feel that they could do anything, but not so much that they could do nothing.”
  14. But with which logo? Barclay's Premiership or whoever sponsors the Championship? For the life of me I couldn't tell you who that is.
  15. Legal aid, innit.
  16. And guess who's paying for his lawyers?
  17. They lost at Portsmouth 1-0 and won at home 1-0 so they would lose 3 points and no goal difference.
  18. Grandad's definition is within about an hour's drive.
  19. This one will be interesting. Why pay for him if you might get him for nothing?
  20. And if all the players agreed to defer their payments until a buyer is found? I also presume that there is a big pile of PAYE and NI payments that is stacking up during all this time.
  21. It's not just her interpretation, it is the whole Home Office. I don't agree that Sunday is included in the time for an appeal. 'Expires Sunday' means just that to me. On Sunday it will have expired.
  22. I think not. That's why they appealed at the last hour, or so they thought.
  23. If West Ham do end up in the playoffs, will they extend the loan of Henderson?
  24. But the law is imprecise. The decision was not hers alone, there was a whole bank of lwayers behind it.
  25. We're not talking about 2 days here, we're talking about 3 months. Everybody agrees it is ambiguous, something which can always be a problem when someone is draughting laws in what is not their natural language. And by the way, '2 days from today' means Sunday to me.
