Particularly remember the trip to St Andrews in the 80/81 season (I think), where we got as far as Chandlers Ford on the old A33 before breaking down, finally getting to the game about 3.15, missing our first goal, in a 3-nil win.

IMO the only international class keeper we have is Joe Hart and although he isn't that experienced at this level, should be number one. Iker Casillas has been playing for Spain since he was 19, a perfect example of if you're good enough, you're old enough!

Watching World Cup games involving current Saints' players.

Did anybody record or Sky+ the England, France game yesterday? My step-son was one of the mascots albeit walking out with the French and our Sky+ failed (the missus set it up because I wasn't around this weekend) and the re-transmission only showed the highlights and didn't show the teams coming out or the anthems. Both the nipper and the missus are gutted, so if anyone has it 'taped' could you please PM me. Thanks!

Wow!! What a second half fight-back. Most unexpected after a first half where Meli ran riot. One hit by O'Meley on Roby that left the latter pretty much unconscious, changed the whole balance of the game. BTW the minute silence for Gary Purdham was impeccably observed!
