  1. No but I was wondering if he could play for the GB team in the olympics.
  2. Great news for Ryan and Saints but it says something about Wales when they have to call up a youngster, who is not even a first teamer at a third division club.
  3. Easy in the end for Wigan. Been the best team all season and with Pat Richards and Sam Tomkins have had the best 2 players.
  4. I reckon his next, the next one after that and possibly even the next one after that, will come on Tuesday.
  5. Mike Walker (Ian's dad) at Norwich and Everton. Kevin Blackwell.
  6. Yup! Should be a classic.
  7. Saints v Giants, Rhinos v Warriors.
  8. Was thinking the same myself. We never seem to get "new manager syndrome". Other teams seem to get an immediate boost when they sack a manager and either employ a caretaker or permanent. Never happens to us though!
  9. Sorry to hear of your loss Daren. Condolences to you and your family! RIP Mrs Wheeler.
  10. I agree but don't know exactly how these contracts work. If Atkins resigns and no compensation is agreed, could Scu nthorpe hold him to a notice period or place him on gardening leave until a notice period has been served? Certainly happens in other walks of life!
  11. Playoffs up and running! St Helens had a surprisingly comfortable win last night over Warrington, who I saw destroy Leeds a fortnight ago at Wembley. Big one tonight at the KC. Hopefully Hull will make it 4 derby victories this season. C'mon you 'ull!!
  12. Blimey those Plested Pie girls were game!!
  13. Exactly how I see it!
  14. Are his bosses and paymasters not in Switzerland???
  15. Moved around a bit. Started in the boys chocky box, then the Milton terraces. When they introduced terrace ST's, moved into the Lower West Stand (Milton End). Then when they put in the bench seats in there, moved to the Archers end of Lower West Stand. Then when bench seats were put in there, moved back to the Milton (redeveloped upper tier terrace). Finally, when the ground went all seater, moved back to the Lower West (Archers), where I remained until we dismantled the seats against Brighton (still got mine in the shed).
  16. Yep! Sounded pretty much dotting the I's and crossing the T's, to me!
  17. Funny! I could have sworn he's starting up front at St Mary's tonight.
  18. Adam Blackmore said that he has had it confirmed from "within the club".
  19. This is the crux as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't personally have got rid of Pardew *****il the next transfer window, if no progress had been made) but AS LONG AS we get someone better and we get promotion, then it will have been the correct decision.
  20. According to Meridian Tonight his International clearance hasn't come through in time for him to play tonight.
  21. But it doesn't stop any ole Englishman playing for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or the Irish Republic because, their grand Father's Step Mother once had a weekend there! It's basically bullsh!t!!! Pat Van den Hauwe was aloud to play for Wales under the same qualification Arteta and Almunia have and most European countries wouldn't be able to field a team without "immigrants".
  22. You want to get your money on then, we're odds on with some bookies!
  23. I believe we were put on a reserve list, which means if any of the chosen venues fail to materialise, we could step in.
