  1. Bart does need match practice, in case we need him in the near future. Remember, he has actually had two match winning performances in the Championship this season.
  2. I know somebody who did that but TBF they were sh!t at the time and we were still a half decent team, so it wasn't a "glory" hunting thing! I think he just lost his marbles.
  3. I think Jaidi, Hammond, Wotton and maybe James or even Davis will be rested. Thomas hasn't played much but did at the weekend and did well. Trotman and Mellis were "rested" at BR so will probably come in. Davis and James have played every game, so probably due a rest.
  4. I remember Mike Marsh, the ex Liverpool defender playing for various Conference sides but having to get a transfer from Kidderminster, when they managed to get promotion to the FL, under the terms of his insurance payout.
  5. I'm pretty sure, reading AP's article on the OS that one or two will be rested.
  6. No, they confirmed that Cardiff would have been allowed to play in Europe if they had managed to beat the Skates in the cup final.
  7. I don't think it was just the fans TBH, I think the club was riddled with it.
  8. Could be 3rd Round of the FA Cup?
  9. The ticket arrangements obviously haven't gone down too well with the Northampton ST Holders. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/northampton_town/8354176.stm?
  10. That's what I was thinking. You can trip over your own feet, your laces, a divot or the ball, all when running at pace will make you go to ground (or you can just lose your balance). Are they dives? No! Are they penalties or free kicks? No! I think that is the mind-set that referees have. If a player goes to ground it is either a foul or a dive and it is not necessarily the case.
  11. Got my Cup-Final ticket in front of me. Turnstile A, Entrance 23, East Standing Enclosure, cost £2.50.
  12. Agreed!
  13. Sh!t stirring is right but what do you expect from the Sun. Brown could quite easily got his secretary to type up a bulk standard letter of condolence, which had been put through the spell checker, had it proof read by several aides and it would have been perfect. He would then have been accused of being impersonal and uncaring. He wrote the letter in good faith and as everybody has said (including shadow cabinet members) because of his eyesight, he has notoriously bad handwriting. The Sun is using this woman's grief to do their political digging for them but from most of the letters and emails the various news channels have received on the subject, it seems to have backfired on them, as the vast majority are sympathetic to Brown.
  14. Agreed. Probably other family members as well! His poor wife has now lost a child and her husband in a very short space of time.
  15. TBH It is a lousy letter! It could have been more explanatory and a little more sympathetic, after all some people could have lost fortunes. The first and last correspondence being 3 lines that could have been written on the back of a fag packet is not very professional IMO.
  16. The Northern Section is much easier though! Apart from Leeds; Accrington, Carlisle and Bradford.
  17. It was a little unlucky but then that's how you could describe OL's career to date "UNLUCKY!"
  18. Oh dear!! OG!!
  19. The final!
  20. The posh seats in the Itchen and the Itchen South aren't sold out. The Northam is only 2 blocks and we've sold around 4 blocks of the Kingsland. Probably sold around 11,000 so far, IMO.
  21. Says here until the end of NEXT season. http://www.seagulls.co.uk/page/Latest/0,,10433~1871954,00.html
  22. Is this one of Tim's players?! http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4630382
  23. Just announced that they have appointed Gus Poyet as manager. Could have an affect!!
  24. This is possible but if it is Leeds, we won't get the amount of tickets Luton did last season, playing a team with tin-pot support like Sc_unthorpe.
