Never bothered me and If it was a decent source of income, then so be it! St Mary's was a new stadium and if naming rights were to be awarded then it should have been The Friends Provident Stadium or whoever (like the Reebok or Emirates) and we wouldn't even have given it a second thought. Changing a traditional stadium such as St James' Park is a different kettle of fish and I think if I was a Geordie, I'd be disappointed and somewhat angry at that (especially the stupid name Ashley is proposing).
