  1. Kettering v Leeds will not take place on the same day Northampton v Saints does. It depends on tv which one moves.
  2. Not sure you can serve a suspension in a game you are not eligible for.
  3. Yup! And Begbies originally refused to take us on. It was only after they were assured of Lowe and his cohort's resignation, that they agreed.
  4. Because it's like Groundhog day! How many times have we drawn them in the last couple of seasons? One advantage (if you can call it that) of being in the 1st and 2nd Rounds, is that you might actually get to go to a town or a ground you've never visited before. We've got Bristol bloody Rovers and Northampton ****ing Town!
  5. Never bothered me and If it was a decent source of income, then so be it! St Mary's was a new stadium and if naming rights were to be awarded then it should have been The Friends Provident Stadium or whoever (like the Reebok or Emirates) and we wouldn't even have given it a second thought. Changing a traditional stadium such as St James' Park is a different kettle of fish and I think if I was a Geordie, I'd be disappointed and somewhat angry at that (especially the stupid name Ashley is proposing).
  6. Apparently so!!
  7. STV's got Thunderbirds on!!
  8. Do you not have Sky?
  9. It is definitely a cliché but I still think it's along the lines of "I'd hate the region not to have a Premier League team." I think the same but my region is one west of the River Meon, south of Sutton Scotney and east of Ringwood.
  10. I know what you mean, though the "football league, you're havin' a laugh!" make me smile! I'm surprised it's not a sell out TBH. Team's doing well though!
  11. Don't think the gobby ones would come anywhere near St Marys TBH! Not sure I agree with that either. Bournemouth = decent place to live; P*mpey = sh!thole!!
  12. I'm tempted to say yes, let's hope so! But you just know that if he did, he'd have his first (and last) world beating performance and single handedly dump us out.
  13. It's not luck. It's what resources and a decent manager can do for you!
  14. As Hell's Bell's said on Soccer AM, a Premier League game in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy!
  15. I think it was probably along the lines of 'if it can't be Saints then I suppose Pimpey will have to do!!'
  16. Wouldn't rhyme with Matt Le Tiss then though!
  17. That's where we are at the moment! We never gave it a second thought until this season because we were one of the "big boys."
  18. http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/FACompetitions/TheFACup/NewsAndFeatures/2009/SecondRoundDraw.aspx Draw Numbers 1 Gillingham 2 Bath City 3 Gateshead or Brentford 4 AFC Bournemouth 5 Lincoln City 6 Stockport County 7 Burton Albion or Oxford City 8 Barrow 9 Leeds United 10 Cambridge United 11 York City 12 Wycombe Wanderers or Brighton & Hove Albion 13 Hereford United 14 Exeter City 15 Southampton 16 Carlisle United or Morecambe 17 Forest Green Rovers or Mansfield Town 18 Oxford United 19 Paulton Rovers or Norwich City 20 Swindon Town 21 Port Vale or Stevenage Borough 22 Luton Town or Rochdale 23 Bromley or Colchester United 24 Accrington Stanley 25 Millwall or AFC Wimbledon 26 Stourbridge or Walsall 27 Staines Town 28 Wealdstone or Rotherham United 29 Torquay United 30 Barnet 31 Notts County 32 Huddersfield Town 33 Milton Keynes Dons 34 Rushden & Diamonds 35 Northwich Victoria or Charlton Athletic 36 Aldershot Town 37 Wrexham 38 Kettering Town 39 Tranmere Rovers or Leyton Orient 40 Northampton Town
  19. Sun 15 Southampton v Brighton (4.30pm) Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports HD1 4.15pm League One
  20. We changed to 4-5-1 after conceding the first goal.
  21. York City at Kit Kat Crescent please!
  22. Lol. I used to work there and that was all you could smell for miles around.
  23. And THAT actually means something. 11 am on Armistice Day and or Remembrance Sunday TWO minutes silence. But a minute silence at any old time, the week before, the week after and just for luck, on the Tuesday in between is quite frankly a nonsense.
  24. Signed a 3 year deal on 30th January 2008, so over a year remaining.
  25. Well if he said NT was no good and not part of his plans, his value to a buying club would be much less than if Preston say they want him back, we need him available for the FA Cup, he's got a big future with us etc, etc, etc.
