I expect he'll give Bart a go and de Ridder and start. Probably make a few other changes as well, but I don't think Adkins will field the youth team. He always bangs on about the 'winning mentality' and how we must win every game.
No-one was more annoyed at that penalty than Kelvin. A massive shame, but great start. Martin proved us all wrong. Currently on a train platform full of Leeds fans!
Comparing the UK to the PIIGS is ridiculous. Our Debt as a percentage of GDP is much much lower. It always has been. The fuss the Tories kicked up was unjustified when they compared us to Greece and what not.
Without the Labour party post-war, we wouldn't have a welfare system, the NHS and a minimum wage(and those are just three things). While obviously they have many failures, you can't write off their achievements.
Exactly, Marx always envisaged a spontaneous uprising of the proletariat as a whole. It was only when people like Lenin and Blanqui came along that the idea of a group or man with absolute power came in to play.
They aren't real Marxist societies. They are just in the name of Marxism. Marxism always fails because some nutjob gets carried away usually with horrendous consequences(Stalin's purges, Pol Pots killing fields and so on).
Edit: And Marxist state doesn't really make sense. True Marxism involves no state and no class. There is meant to be an in between state called the 'Dictatorship of the Proletariat', but that is when it always goes wrong.
