Mind you all these comments were after the 5-0 loss but not before the 4-1 away win. Who knows with football and in particular Saints!

I think people on here should stop telling the club who to employ and in what position and start doing their job - supporting the Saints. If this chap is good enough for the new owner he's good enough for me.

I see everyone still thinks we'll hit the ground running, even with Woote's superior tactics and a load of youngsters who couldn't hack The Championship. Me? I'm yet to be convinced - even in two warm up games we've conceded in the 81st, 89th and 90th minute. If we finish outside the bottom four this season I will be happy.

I second that. You have to watch the 'highlights' to see how many long-rangers go in, how many 'glued to the goal-line' goals are scored and the usual list of 'I could have done better goals' - get yourself a good goalie and you're taking a big step toward having a decent League Division Three team. Only a step mind you.....

I genuinely think I'll be dead before Saint are in the top division above Pimpey. By the way I'm 47 (on July 17th) and keep fit and I am very healthy for my age and if I have any say in it I intend to live for a lot more years. In short I'm not confident and I think no matter what happens we'll be a League Division Three club for quite a few more years to come....

If we have a club to support next season they can be called Southampton C*ck-Knockers as far as I am concerned. I don't believe people on here would be willing to tell a consortium or potential owner to feck off just because they might want to change the name 'slightly'. Sometimes I think we don't deserve a club.... Moreover this Red Bull stuff is probably Brown Stuff from a Bull anyway.

I can't believe I've read on this thread that some people don't want the team called Southampton Red Bulls. You know a multi billion pound organisation with a track record in owning successful teams wants to buy us but NO the can **** off 'cause they want to change the club name and badge. To quote Garth and Wayne "Are you mental?" As far as I am concerned if they save this club from going out of business by Friday they can call us Southampton ****-Knockers if they want. Which with our recent record on and off the pitch would be appropriate.

To be honest you don't have to know anything do you? If Pinnacle or The Swiss Cheese Company take over that is 'big news' and if no one does that is 'Big News' too....well for us, the rest of the world could give a!
