I have a bad feeling that Tony Adams will turn out to be a success for Pompey. I've thought all along that he's probably had a bigger part to play in Pompey's recent success than Harry has anyway. On a differnt note..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/7695590.stm

You should go to an Ospreys match there. They have a full band which plays for most of the match!
-
The depressing thing is, you're wrong. We have 3 quality strikers out on loan!
-
You wouldn't like Wind Street. Full of students!

The thing I found more frustrating than anything was BWP and McG failing to make any forwards runs. There was a little boy in front of me who seemed just as frustrated and was clearly pointing out what they should be doing.....if he could see it, why the hell couldn't the so-called professionals. Also, it seemed like we were chasing the ball the whole time. All they needed to do was play it out wide and there seemed to always be someone hugging the touchline on the wing completely free to run at our defence. Our corners annoyed me to. I think we had 3 corners in the game....a great opportunity to play the ball into the box yet we seemed to waste them on short ones. One the short corners was given for offside....I bloody waste! As for the fans. We were disappointing. Was the incident you're talking about at the back on the right hand side. I couldn't really see from where I was. Swansea fans outsang us the whole match (which is a change for Saints fans.....from my experience out away support is pretty vocal normally). I'm not really sure why considering they were winning they needed to constantly sing abouy Pompey and Redknapp though  I find it so cringeworth when people do that especially when they're winning! Also what was with the big police presence? I'm sure there was no need for it? I nearly couldn't get in because they wouldn't let me through the gate towards the away end without a ticket...they didn't seem to believe me at first that I said I was supposed to be collecting from the turnstiles, and 1 guy I spoke to in the ground said they had had a police escort all the way from Port Talbot in their mini-bus. All seemed a bit OTT to me.

And it's people like you we need more than ever before. Good on ya!

If anyones staying for the weekend, the Ospreys are playing on Sunday at the Liberty. They're in a similar situation to Saints needing to get more fans to each game in order to break even.

Apparently he said "We're 5hit"

Like mentioned above. Head straight ahead out of the station (or left depending how you look at things), towards Wind Street (less than 5 minute walk from the station). If you're going from there to the stadium you can either a) taxi-there's a taxi rank behind the train station. It'll probably cost about £5 to get to the stadium. b)bus-I haven't been for a while but busses run from the Quadrent (near Tesco). I don't know what number bus it'd be, but I'd expect it'd be heading towards Morriston (just ask the driver). c)Walk-It's about a 30-40 minute walk to the stadium from town. Personally, I'd avoid the slightly scummy bits mentioned to the right of the station, but if you do wish to go that way, go right out of the station and keep going til you get to trafic lights with a bridge near by. Go right at the lights and follow the road (look at a map....no doubt much more reliable than my directions http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl ). You could just order your tickets and collect them from the stadium. And people used to tell me that no good would come out of living in Wales for 5 years.

Oh well, every cloud I guess....
-
I would, but I don't know the words.
-
It would be nice if he got a hat-triack to knock Pompey out of Europe. Having said that, it'd be even nicer if they didn't get that far.
-
Yes, I agree with this. Even if it means starting a thread counts as 2/3 of our posts per day.

Allegedly? Yea right.... The end is nigh...

I enjoy watching Spurs these days. I'm considering getting a season ticket.

We got Virgin Broadband a few weeks ago. At first my housemate got 2MB, but we discovered its absolutely crap. Since then we upgraded to 10Mb supposedly yet it's still really crap. I can't watch anything on iPlayer or YouTube for more than about 1 minute before it stops loading, and on MSN rarely do my messages send. Also, it keeps disconnecting about twice a day meaning we have to go and turn the router and modem off and on again at the mains. Anyone know why this could be?
-
I agree, there are far too many games on TV these days, although I believe ALL competitive international games (well British teams anyway) should be on terrestrial TV (i.e. even if Wales are on BBC Wales for example). As for Premiership games, no 1 team should be on TV more than 2 times a season IMO.
-
We should also throw Harry Redknapp, Steve Wigley and George Burley (who, incidently was booed in the Scotland match today for his questionable tactics) into this discussion! Although, I would go for WGS.
-
Ah yes, how can we forget how excited some board members became when Mido's website changed from Roma colours to red and white...only for him to sign for Spurs the next day.
-
Lets face it, you're pretty retarded if you'd never heard of the 9th biggest country in the world before Borat.
-
Does he have an autobiography?
-
I'm struggling to understand what this means? Are we going to go and kill a lamb on new years day in return for a defender?
-
Well about the first 15 seconds seemed like we did OK. I finally decided to get my arse down to the pub, got comfortable was about to go and get myself a pint when some big headed "Man Yoo" fans came in and asked for it to be turned over. I was a tad out numbered trying to argue my case. I went to 3 other pubs after that, 2 had the United game on and 1's TV wasn't working. I really starting to ****ing hate Setanta friggin' Sports. This never would have happened when we were a big Premiership team.
