If I was watching any other team play top level football to the standard that we do, I would find it funny, I would be laughing at them. If I take a little pleasure by having a little chuckle about how abysmal we have been, and continue to be, against what is frankly a pretty crap Forrest, who cares. If that offends you, sorry but tough. If it's any consolation to you, I (like many) are hurting bad, but that's only because we are so fucking shyte!

Much as we all hate Everton I think we probably all knew in our heart of hearts that there was little chance of them being one of the worst 3 teams. On the other hand, we all probably knew that in a season where the bar has been ridiculously low, Saints would contrive to go down without so much as a whimper. Fucking worse season I can remember in many years.

What a masochistic bloody thread, reliving all the horrific shyte that we have been subjected to this season does nothing but pour salt in the wounds. Hard to know how we have become so bad, it's a long way back from here on in.

The game will be far, far too big for us. We will lose, something to nil but who really gives a shit.

The bottom line is we have made so many mistakes over the past 3 to 4 seasons that we deserve to be where we are. We got so wrapped up in 'the Southampton way' we failed to see when it patently went wrong. Not replacing proven players with the same, or better quality, has eroded the squad to probably league one levels. Danny Ings, Oriel Romeo, Adam Armstrong, a prem standard goalkeeper, the Welsh experiment followed by our current 'manager', how many levels of incompetence do you think you can survive. The Club is rotten from top to bottom, relegation won't fix the problem it will only hasten our demise further. Think back to what it took to get this club back to the Premiere League after our last relegation, is there another Markus Liebherr waiting in the wings to pour millions into the club, I think not. We are down and we won't be back for many years I fear.

They will absolutely decimate us and win at a canter, could be very ugly. I'm hoping that JWP is still out and not able to play, he's given as much as he can to this shitshow and deserves a break. You don't have to be very old to remember the days when we were more than a match for Newcastle, now though they are light years ahead of us, we really shouldn't be on the same pitch as them. What an absolute fucking mess this club is in.

We haven't had a 'forward line' for many many months. We've had a few guys amble aimlessly about, but not what anybody, who knows anything about football, would call a 'forwards line'.

It's a very good point, and one that I think lots of people have overlooked. Relegation could be the least of our problems, we could drop further than the championship. It took a lot of investment from Markus to get us up last time, or current owners may not have the same intent. Anybody thinking we will walk the championship will be very disappointed.

I've had us relegated since Christmas, nothing I've seen since gives me any hope that I've been wrong. To think that we will suddenly start winning games is naive in the extreme, I doubt we'll manage to beat Bournemouth tomorrow.

Can't see spurs being that bad in the second half. The game is gone, it should be a case of shutting up shop, can't see anymore goals in this one!

You would think we'd go hell for leather, goals goals goals. But we won't, we'll tippy tappy it around at the back hoping we can stop them from scoring. How many times have we seen that gameplan this season, how many times has it failed? Another must win game which we won't win.
