The Athletic article about Saints' mystery injuries around 60mins
Micky replied to Saint NL's topic in The Saints
Why is this even a story? The FA have said we have done nothing wrong. When one of our players goes down what is the opposition doing, still running around the pitch at match levels, or are they resting too...??? Can the opposition go to the bench and get tactical information and take on gels as well...??? Why are these breaks, manufactured or not, only beneficial to Saints and not the opponents as well? Non story. -
The road to recovery...? So why spend 90 million quid then? I have no agenda against Howe, in fact other than my last post I can't actually remember ever commenting on him. But if you can find my agenda laden posts, feel free to quote them. Also, I never said he was crap, I said that if you spend 90 million quid in the January transfer window the very least you should expect is to stay up - I stand by that.
-
No, no, no - you've got somewhat confused there. The shot was of the famed Everton dug outs, which as we all know are far more important than any on field coverage. Historic dug outs, well worth the air time....
-
Drop his wallet on it...?????
-
Really..! If you spend 90 million quid in the January transfer window alone, you really should be staying up at a very bare minimum...!!!
-
No, it's called having no balls.
-
Is that really the line that West Ham have trotted out? Football has no morals, cowardice from board, management and players.
-
They won't go down now, mores the pity. I feel for Burnley and their fans, they've been shit over by Newcastle.

Villa are looking a complete mess at SJP.

The Minsk Memorial Thread (and continuation of his work)
Micky replied to Minsk's topic in The Saints
Gutted by this news, condolences to his family. RIP Minsk. -
Exactly, football is not uppermost in Danny's mind, the move to villa was never about football.

I noticed that as well, as soon as the play went wide he deliberately shuffled over to get into the position to cross first time. It definitely looked like something they had been working on to ensure the delivery into the box was quality and quickly executed. As you say, very KDBish, but worked brilliantly last night.
-
If we get the same level of performance as we did last night I'll be happy no matter what the score. United will have to be very good to beat us if we play to the same standards, and we will also be in with a chance of getting something.

Character.

Subs made us weaker, no precence up front

Ah well...

What a save

When you can throw 100 million around in Jan transfer window you should be bloody shot if you go down. Ain't gonna happen unfortunately.
-
I'd be more than pleased with a point, and if we can defend well, no reason we can't get something. Got to marshall Kane and Son though.
-
I noticed that ITV have a 'Player' of the match nomination. Anybody any idea why the good old MotM is no longer used? Or should I not go there....
-
And have done so for some time.
-
Yep, fair point. Either way, I don't think this is 'the insurmountable problem' that some seem to think it is.

Huddersfield away would be good.
