  1. Sadly this is the crux of the matter.
  2. Might be a bit optimistic given the team's we've got left to play now, City and United obviously won't be easy, and we all know what we're like against Everton. After that though would really want to see wins against both our South coast rivals. One thing that has pissed me off are some of the teams that have done the double over us this season, West Ham, Burnley, Newcastle, so would really love to finish with another win over Sheffield United. But 50 points is probably a little optimistic methinks.
  3. Pretty pissed off after that, would've been a brilliant away day. Everybody put a shift in today, we were good all across the park so I'm not bothering with the motm vote. Keep this level of effort and intensity for the rest of the games and I'll be happy.
  4. Feel for STH's, no value for money there.
  5. Sorry but thought we were pretty rubbish to be honest. Apart from the first five to ten minutes we did nothing of note in the first half, and then concede from a complete brain fart from our keeper. Even in the second half we had lots of the ball but caused them problems once, rarely were they under any real pressure. We had the chance to try and kick on after the lock down restart and get ourselves up the league. We're safe but it looks like it's going to be our customary limp to the line with about 41 points I would guess.
  6. Looking awful now....
  7. 3 shots... goal
  8. Here we go
  9. Should've scored, first time we've worked their keeper.
  10. When you use Norwich as your barometer then you're probably asking for trouble.
  11. Getting carved open...
  12. Decent strike that...!
  13. Class player, class human, I wish him all the best at his new club. Thanks for everything he did for this club.
  14. Sadly, political correctness.
  15. They've got Spurs and Chelsea next, and have to play 3 of the relegation threatened side's as well. Could be difficult to get points in that scenario so they might struggle to stay up. They've also got United away and Burnley at home, not easy.
  16. It's Roy Keane drunk....?
  17. Lots of positives that you can draw from that performance, but it all needs to be balanced that it was against a woeful Norwich side.
  18. First 15 was poor, thereafter we've been good.
  19. It's us, Saints.....
  20. Volume down..
  21. We are a mess
  22. Had tablet sorted, tied to post, got error please try again, this posted by phone which also took a while to get on the site.
  23. I think the last sentence is the salient point though: Unfortunately, the Argentine has not fared much better in LaLiga this season, scoring just a single league goal in nearly 1,000 minutes of action for the second-worst club in Spain’s top-flight. Not the sort of states that any team is going to want to shell out big bucks for. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks for the measured response, I fear you maybe right, but obviously hope you are way off the mark. I did see what actions the Chinese have taken and do wonder how far we are from that in this country, at the moment it would seem to be quite a long way. I live in a relatively small Market town, there is pretty much no visible change whatsoever. I went supermarket shopping yesterday, it was no less busy than normal, and I came into contact with lots of people who I have no idea where they've been or what they've contracted. Certainly I agree, the situation now appears to be changing on a daily basis, and people are much more aware of the need to take isolation precautions if possible. I was not being flippant in suggesting that games in empty stadium was a safer environment for players, it is. Frankly now, I think you are correct in that the sooner this is defeated, the better.
