A cheer you up present from West Ham and the KUMBrigade

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but you also reap what you sow. Moving to a nice shiny stadium at only 3m rent a year was too good a chance not to take up it would of seemed, no doubt Sullivan, Gold and Brady were rubbing their hands in glee with dollar signs in their eyes. Problem is that it ain't a football stadium, and the landlord wont allow them to convert it into a football stadium, and even if they did it would be far, far too big for them...! The City of Manchester Stadium was a 40000 seater stadium before it was converted for football and now holds 55000, and if you didn't know you probably wouldn't notice that it was once an athletics arena. The London Stadium is already a 60000 seater stadium, converting that means it would probably be in excess of 70000 seats. Hard to fill in the Premiership never mind the Championship. As I say, you reap what you sow, big isn't always best. -
It may come across as arrogant, but in reality he's only doing what the FA themselves mandated when they bought in the winter break. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/51256760 Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

But maybe not, the penalty that they actually got, initial contact outside of the box. Swings and roundabouts... shame really, I think when they reflect on the game they will see it as a chance lost to win the tie. They had good chances to score, and only a very soft own goal got liverpool a replay. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Shrewsbury in the next round please....! Get in.... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

I think that Micky Mellons insinuation that United might blame the state of the pitch if they were to lose has perhaps backfired a tad. 6 nil in less than an hour. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Mane off, only Salah and VVD to go now...! Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Bowyer and Dyer, very tasty... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Some right old names from the past there, (and probably a few 'dual accounts' dare I venture...!). Few others that used to be on the radar: Tijuana Tim Eastleigh Soul Boy .... and whatever happened to: tommac Mark or was it Marc Jackson....!!!

Yep, I know, what I meant was, as I was watching I was confident that we would win the game (and comfortably). Whereas in the Wolves game, as soon as they scored, I feared the worse - and the worse happened. It's all about 'how' we are playing I guess, can't explain it, but there you go, never expected us to lose last night after the second went in.
-
But we did put it to bed shortly after half time - the second goal was always going to be crucial. After that, it was never in doubt.

Palace 0-2 Saints. Wild celebration reaction thread.

Brilliant performance right across the team and management tonight, great away performance. Shouldn't be any negatives after that display. JWP, Redders and Armstrong the pick of a very good all round team display, everyone of them showed bouncebackability after the weekend. Buzzing... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk -
We'll be getting those 3 points next weekend at Anfield. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Unfortunately you could be right, next goal in this one is huge. Very good 1st half from the boys though, just need to show a little composure and be a little more clinical when wer get chances. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

We will get something, a bloody good hiding. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

It's more about seeing a positive reaction from the players after ****ing away the points yesterday. Palace are on the up though, will do well to get anything from this game. Can see three straight defeats on the horizon unfortunately. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

The 'just knew' parade were correct though, right? Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Game of two 'alfs innit... unfortunately, as soon as they scored you sort of knew what was coming. They are a big physical side with good technical skills though, made their chances and took them, we didn't. We have a decent first eleven, but after that we are pretty mediocre, our bench is weak and doesn't offer much. We needed a goal and bought on Adams who doesn't look like he will ever score in this league, and didn't today, while Boufal was never going to make a difference against such a strong side. His effort at the end was woeful, really needed that to fall to Danny who would've at least hit the target. We can put it down to a bad day at the office, but all the excuses in the world won't detract from the fact that this was 3 points thrown away - 2 nil up at home, we should be seeing out the game. Not a lot of positives from today to be honest, I think we showed we are a mid lower table team, but I guess that's better than relegation candidates. Will be interesting to see how we react to this one though, palace next, and they got a very decent point today. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Yeah, weird one that, hope Coventry beat them though. Sort of got a soft spot for them after the horrific way their club has been 'run' over the last 10 years or so. Bloody disgraceful affair. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Agreed, but there are quite a few who would argue that Mourinho sees the FA Cup as his one big shot at success this season, so he'll be going for it as well. Will be interesting to see how it plays out, especially as our league form and position has improved so much. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Not sure that our 'FA Cup 11' would beat Spurs to be honest... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Spurs 1 up after 2 minutes.... Make that 2 after 15....... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Wrighty touting him for England. Some decent stats though: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51100705

Which, unfortunately, is how the owner insists the club is to be run. Self sustainability means we have to sell in order to generate funds to buy. There it's no cash injection coming from the owner any time soon, and given our recent rise up the league table I'm sceptical about doing any business in this transfer window. Which one player would be the worst to lose to injury now?

Struggling with this one, I'm gonna need some time to think about it. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
