  1. The overly negative (with emphasis on overly) team selection, I thought that was pretty clear to be honest. We have the ever dreadful Redmond in, Carrillo up front and players playing in ineffectual positions. JWP is zero threat except when we have plenty of corners/free kicks. No Sims, no Boufal, no Gabbi etc etc
  2. And yet, he'd still be a better option than Redmond. That said I agree with your other points.
  3. Dreadful line up, lets hope for a fluke result!
  4. I'll take that. That alone might be enough. He'd still be infinitely more useful than Long or Carrillo.
  5. Equals 6? I'm lost, who's whose pal?
  6. SKD will be along in a minute to tell us he's a striker worthy of a top 7 side or something. He's absolutely dog**** (literally worse than I thought). In fact his one supposed attribute, being good in the air, he's also **** at.
  7. Big fan of that challenge myself.
  8. My thoughts exactly. Some on here think we are some big time 7th/8th team who are scrumming it with little ol Swansea and Newcastle but that just isn't the case. We have some very very average players as does every other team in that bracket.
  9. Haha here he comes, knew you'd be creaming yourself at this non news. He hasn't gone anywhere yet and it's the Mail, and only because he's the only player in our squad, apart from Bertrand, who would attract a fee. Hence the non link. But here's the thing (and you struggle with basic things such as facts so I am sure I'll have to repeat myself), one he wouldn't go to 'any top 6 side', two he's only a possibility because they are selling Can (who he wouldn't oust in their current side), three, I said Arsenal and possibly Liverpool's bench because they have low quality backups, however, it remains to seen if he'd get a sniff ahead of Wijnaldum and 4 he hasn't gone anywhere. You go back to your funny juice, head in the sand belief though that we have the bestest squad outside the top 7. Which is precisely why we are in the bottom 5. Div.
  10. And I said that's never going to happen... (you can apologise later). He might MIGHT get a look in at Arsenal, but no one else so until he plays for at least one of the other teams then I'll be apologising for nothing. I recognise it quite well thank you. And from seeing him play AND comparing it to the stats we already knew - he's bang average...something you can't see. You only have to look at the Carrillo thread to tell you that. As for scoring more goals...Um. I mean we are still averaging a goal a game, in the league, which hasn't improved since he joined. The Brom games were an anomaly because they are worse than us but that didn't bump things up by any great measure. Also, I mean, I am not the biggest fan of the board at the moment, but are you actually trying to tell me they didn't bring in, someone who has only ever played as an out an out striker, who MoPe himself said was a replacement for Austin, to score goals. Is that the sort of thing you're coming up with now? Bonkers. And you're right about one thing (I mean a stop watch and all that) that he hasn't set the world alight, he's barely lit a match - waste of money is more accurate. We could have literally signed any, ANY lump and that would have changed our general shape because we could just hit them as an out. Results and performances haven't improved much and had the useless clown in charge just adapted our play just a bit (i.e. attack once in a while would be a start) Gabbi would have been perfectly capable until Austin returned. He didn't, he stuck with the ever useless Long then got his way with some of the VVd money and use it to spend on an old friend. Cracking business Saints.
  11. Here he comes, "Lemina could play for anyone" No obsession but there's a reason why every club in the world, apparently apart from Saints, uses them. Also, Carrillo was bought in to score goals....His total so far is one assist, and one shank that Tadic turned into an assist. So he's hardly set the world alight. I am just hoping Austin turns up pretty soon.
  12. I am well aware what it lists him as. I said 'his main position' and the 'one he's started 22 games as' is CF. You also omitted that it also lists him as a 'forward' from your post. Again, not knowing much about him I await someone of intimate knowledge of Swedish football to shed some light on this. As, if he is mainly a winger/attacking left/right then those stats are pretty decent (what are his assists like), however if they are for a striker (which we need as well as an attacking number 10) then he's just another Carrillo. Bankg average.
  13. Whoscored.com reckons that you are now being a little economical with the truth listing his main position (the one he's started 22 games this season) as striker (https://www.whoscored.com/Players/320575/Show/Saman-Ghoddos). Can't say I have any actual knowledge of him baring the odd BT Sport appearance, so you may well be right, but it sounds like another Carrillo to me...And we've already got two of them. Is it too much to ask to look in the German, Portuguese, Spanish leagues for a semi prolific striker?
  14. Is he good enough to be promoted to/potential for the first team? Forsters contract is a huge issue I agree but if we can stay up and he stays on the bench we may persuade a team coming up/going down to part of a few quid.
  15. Based on??? To answer the OP, not as good as most on here think. I think we are basically in the same bracket as about 9th downwards. We probably aren't bad as the position we are in suggests, but nor are we any better than that bracket.
  16. He's meant to be pretty handy from what I have seen and heard (more heard if I am honest), can anyone else shed any light on his performances and potential?
  17. This. A thousand times this.
  18. Sims has to get some game time surely
  19. Redmond. Why. Hoedt. Why.
  20. Ugh not again. No he absolutely wouldn't walk into Spur's midfield, Dembele and Wanyama are both better options. Liverpool is debatable because Henderson is actually dreadful but Can isn't a world cup winner and Juve's new signing for nothing. Arsenal have plenty of average trash in there though, and as they play 5 across midfield he's better than the options they have aside from Ramsey and Ozil...jury out on Wiltshere
  21. Already climbed down about Chelsea, wouldn't get a sniff in at Spurs, City or Utd and questionable whether he's better than Can at Liverpool or Wiltshere and Ozil at Arsenal. As Arsenal play a 5 I'll concede he's better than Xhaka, Elneny and any others they have so probably he'd get in there. As for the highlighted bit...You don't. You couldn't possibly know unless you're another claiming BS ITK status with zero substance. Is that what you are claiming is it? Burnley 1 - 1 Saints this weekend. Not good enough but typical resort to type performance from a clown of a manager.
  22. I agree Pample, I like Lemina a lot, he was a very good signing (unlike Hoedt) but to claim he'd improve the top 6 is laughable.
  23. Wrong on all three accounts but that's hardly a surprise given your track record today. But don't get insulting because you've made a fool of yourself. You're clearly the sort that rocks up, watches Saints only and has an no idea about any other teams anywhere else. Which is why you think Lemina would improve Chelsea's team (over two world class players in Kante and Fabregas)...your words
  24. Honestly, just log onto F365 once in a while, even that'll improve your limited knowledge somewhat. The Fabregas statement alone is just, well mind boggling seeing as though he was doing exactly what you claim he can't do less than 24 hours earlier against Europe's elite.
  25. Ffs lol stop. They both literally signed for Spurs before their current clubs. Yedlin may have only played one game but he was being touted around before signing for Spurs.
