Go the tangerines!!!
-
Noises from the club suggest it isn't. Vincent Tan is allegedly holding them hostage, either they re-brand and take his investment or they go bust. It's almost as bad as franchise FC what's being done to Cardiff at the moment.
-
I remember he was a standout player for the academy that had his development blighted by injuries. Without them I fully expect he'd be playing at least Championship football now.
-
Blue apparently an unlucky colour their owners say? http://www.ccmb.co.uk/fudforum/index.php?t=msg&th=320273&prevloaded=1&rid=0&start=0

Seeing as so many of us were convinced he would fail in the Championship, only to watch Rickie to shove 27 goals down the doubters throats, how many goals do you think sir Rick is good for in the premier league? I'll get the ball rolling with a hefty first season total of 15 (4 penalties.) Any advances on 15?

Fairly certain they're no relation?

Only proves you should never go back, great for Sheff U in his first spell with the Blades and ruined that good feeling with the fans now. Great performer with us, I was shattered when he left for Everton.

While I do know you're joking he won't sign for the Arse because he allegedly wants upwards of 100k weekly Don't think so somehow lol -
Super Kel is worthy of a second crack at the premier league. He'll do us proud.
-
FFS I'd rather have any other team in the prem than the Hammers as they'll be by far the toughest nut to crack of the other promotion candidates. Still, they played like champions tonight the bastards
-
That's correct, it encompasses only top divisions from 14 leagues. Just wanted to show that money perhaps can't buy success.

http://espn.go.com/espn/story/_/id/7850531/espn-magazine-sportingintelligence-global-salary-survey-espn-magazine Thought this list might be of some interest to everyone. Notable inclusions are West Ham at noumber 114 above teams like Newcastle, Stoke and Athletic Bilbao among many more. It's a good read for any-one interested in sport finances.

Ok ok, well done 1976 child and TDD the rest of us are bleeding idiots about football From now on Dellday's word is law!

Loads of flair, pace and skill but went missing arbitrarily for no apparent reason for half the games I saw him play. Still remembered fondly by me though.

Vicente anyone? I know he's made of glass but the reason he's playing for Brighton is he wanted a foot in the door of English football and he might take a pay as you play for a prem chance. He's looked a class above in a poor Brighton team and really seems to be the mustard. -
Where do you predict we'll finish next season?
farawaysaint replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
14th, there are some really awful teams in the prem, we should be able to pick up points against the likes of the Baggies, Fulham and Stoke, sadly there are also some very very good teams up here O.o Bricking it a little actually after looking at the prem table just now I've forgotten what it's like to be a small fish in a big pond. -
So much pain, still happy but ow my head hurts
-
FFS I dreamed we lost 3-0 and then later that we lost 2-1 feck this waiting for a game of soldiers.
-
Half our words have a French/Latin base The rest are Scandanavian.
-
I thought the "way" was to appear weak where you are strong and appear strong where you are weak? Applying this to Coventry we should start with the youth and bring on the senior pros for a second half blitz Although it does explain Adkins' doublespeak on injuries
-
If it all goes pooey what about the playoffs?
farawaysaint replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
Did you learn nothing from Derby? There is no "away-goal rule" for the playoffs. Penalties where Lambert will score one and the rest of our team who've had no practice whatsoever would all miss -
I'm fairly useless in the morning before my coffee to be fair though not so bad as to need special attention
-
Well crap, thought it was Sunday and I'd missed the game saw the Reading pitch invasion on TV and figured it was us before realising my mistake. That puts a bit of a downer on my day
