Oxo is black, as was Theo and everyone lurves them. BWP and Dyer robbed some poor girl in a nightclub they deserve whatever boos they got. Jones was black and popular and Wright despite putting his all into every performance was often booed. I'm not saying there aren't idiots who would willingly boo black players just that they're in the minority, (at Saints anyway.)

I've been reading the website for many years now and just lately it seems that everything they post has negative connotations towards the club or management. Fair enough, it's never been the most level headed reading material out there but what the hell is going on?

Fully expect Brum to win the league, as they have a Europa place they're unlikely to lose any apart form their best 2 or 3 players and that money coupled with the parachutes I expect to be invested immediately to achieve promotion to the prem. If they don't go up this season however they won't be nearly as intimidating next year.

Anyone else bricking it about the championship now? I was very confident about our chances this season in the heady after glow of promotion but now... We have Blackpool who have the parachute and possible Europe funds to compete with, the Hammers with very astute businessmen in charge, Brum who are laways serious contenders, the play off loser of this year is between two very good teams, the foxes are up there and will be looking to build on the last two seasons, Milwall have also done very well, Forest will be there or there abouts and Leeds Derby and even Brighton in their new stadium to contend with. Suddenly I'm not feeling all that confident but hopefully a good summer and pre season with our opposition losing key players is to follow

Baird definitely! Also Viafara was total quality and "I sorry I spoil the party," is one of my all time greatest Saints memories. I wouldn't swap it for the world he was such a passionate guy.

Why is it that whenever we as fans say something like this about a player he goes on to perform regularly and his value skyrockets?

Danny Ings would be a great signing for the future, strikers are always overpriced and a good 19 year old like Ings could be developed and sold on for a much bigger fee than B-muff would take from us. They'd probably demand a hell of a sell on though like with Lallana.

Clubs like Ajax and Lyon manage to do quite well off their academy. It's nowhere near the standard you have mentioned of course but it could make us contenders if not in any way major players, I'd like think at some point we could at least be challenging for Eufa spots if I have no illusions about regular CL football.
