Palace team looks poor on paper. Should be a comfortable win but just know we will fuck it up. 1-0 Palace
-
It's a hefty fee but he was a standout player in the Championship last season. Still a bit risky going to Villa, as Grealish aside, they have a poor quality squad.
-
Is this going to be a Fonte situation where he eventi eventually only has West Ham as a choice 🤣
-
His actual PL stats make for pretty poor reading, if anything he played better for England for a year or so. His send off and tearful interviews with Liverpool were embarrassing, especially when his contribution has been so minimal. Would be surprised if he does anything at Brighton n

Typical Everton signing. I know our recruitment has been poor, but they act more recklessly due to wanting to pay £35-£50 million for players. Richarlison aside, they've not got a lot going for them. Hojbjerg may go on to improve, but right now he's not good enough for Champions league level. No issues at all with him going.
-
Really like them both, the past 2 seasons have been very poor. Would prefer the third as the home shirt though. Not bought a shirt for a while, may have to get both of those

Incredible, such an intense game too, it was good to forget there were no fans. What a turnaround from Ralph, I've been so critical of the likes of Stephens, Ward-Prowse and others, but everyone stepped up tonight. There must have been some serious work going on behind the scenes in the last few months
-
Just imagine if we could win home games. Lot of credit to the players, they've clearly been working a lot harder than other teams over the last three months. Few tough ones coming up, but Ings will certainly have his eye on the golden boot now
-
That'll do nicely. Certainly didn't miss Hojbjerg. Don't know how to copy in my prediction from the build up thread but
-
Has to be the defence that gets sorted first. Bednarek and Bertrand are our only 2 PL quality players at the back, which highlights what a job Ralph has done. The likes of Stephens and Valery will never be good enough for this level.
-
Watford have only won 4 home games, yet every time any team goes there they are going to get 'out muscled by Deeney' and lose. Pressure all on Watford here, expect Ings to score a few, Watford 1-3 Saints
-
Another poor result, we will not get relegated but it will go close. Bmouth, Watford and Norwich all losing. A poor end to the season but we knew after 10 games in the reality that this is a p155 poor squad we have. Let's just crawl over the line and try and move forward. We're doomed now, what with all the teams behind us about to go on great runs of form Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Seems another case of lots of people expecting a huge upturn in form by 4-5 teams. There's a reason they are down there in the first place. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

This is a prime example of a 'winnable home game' that we have consistently failed to win for the past 4 years. Would happily take a draw from this. Newcastle will make things difficult for us. Saints 0-0 Newcastle Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

He's in the way off the direct line of travel of the ball and also about 5 yards in front of De Gea. If that isn't interfering with play, what is? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

To be fair Moyes put out a reasonably atracking side who looked like they would cause us problems. I know he scored, but Obafemi and Long, and no Ings, Refmond or Djenepo inspires much confidence Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

In a way there's no real pressure on us. Going to take the old clichéd stance of whoever scores first, wins. West Ham 3-1 Saints (Antonio 17, Noble pen 42, Snodgrass 63, Stephens 88) West Ham 0-3 Saints (Ings 19, 32, Armstrong 76) Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Credit to Norwich, still giving it a go. Leicester have run out of steam, yet still find themselves comfortably in third, so it doesn't seem to get mentioned. Although I have heard they beat us 9-0. I feel we should officially change our name to 'since that 9-0 defeat to Leicester, Ralph Hassenhutl's Southampton'. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Hate both these sides. This is going to be so demoralising for West Ham and if Liverpool keep playing like this, they will eventually get beat by someone. Just annoying that they have been nowhere near as good as they were last season, yet cruising to the title this year. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

The 0-9 is sticking for a while. All media outlets are incapable of writing or saying anything about us without mentioning it. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Yeah we will limp over the line. There's been an upturn in form, but only temporary. We still have the same limited group of players we started the season with. Even at our worst we had about 9 points from the first 11/12 games so we will be fine, especially with our fixtures. Would expect 3 wins and a couple of draws. Considering we looked doomed going into December I'd be fine with this. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Yeah would have made a huge difference to that team[emoji23] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Would like to see a strong team, there's no reason we can't go there and win. Really depends on how the 2 managers approach it given its the winter break. Gunn Valery Bednarek Stephens Bertrand JWP Hoj Refmond Boufal Ings Adams Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
