  1. ROFL at all the FM gamers wanting to take the money. You can't just go out and buy a ready made replacement, it simply is not that easy. Yes, the projected transfer fee is huge for a 30 year old playing his first season in the Championship but you have to look beyond that. If he leaves, who replaces him? Will it affect the dynamics of the squad? (The answer to that is yes, yes it will). Will his replacement slot in seamlessly, or will he struggle to find form? Will we have to adapt ourselves to the replacement? Will he even be replaced? If he is, do we even have a suitable target? If he isn't, do we have a backup plan? Will that stand a good chance of working? How does this affect our promo push? The list of questions (problems, more like) it creates is almost endless. As Lambert said himself, you cannot buy what we've got - the continuation and familiarity between a group of players that have been together almost 3 years. It's way too bigger gamble to make assuming we're in playoff contention in December. Lambert staying is far more important than £5m we might never spend.
  2. We will walk this lea..... hang on a minute
  3. Apart from WHU, all of the above.
  4. We need a fan on the board to smooth the passage of communications and play the mediator role between the club and the local press - as well as someone who can pass on SaintsWeb transfer targets once we've weeded out all the players deemed good enough/not good enough for Saints, even before a ball's been kicked.
  5. 'kin ell, he should have a little look in the mirror before she accuses someone else of looking like a mess...
  6. Rather be a dreamer than an utter sh1t, to be fair. Nasty club, nasty manager, nasty stadium, nasty squad.
  7. Would probably be a good event; an intelligent, thoughtful professional from one of the most fast-paced and notorious businesses in the world.
  8. Average to good player - looks like the bastard lovechild of Andy Steggall and Sally Gunnell though. Not that that's important.
  9. Djimi Traore, Mikael Nilsson, Andreas Jakobsson, Jordan Henderson, Jean-Alain Boumsong...
  10. ROFL at Skates... AGAIN
  11. I'd personally create a "Threesy Does It" DVD first to sell outside Dean Court, just to remind our snotty-nosed friends from the West who is top dog.
  12. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/september-11-attacks/8756264/911-Radical-Islamists-burn-US-flag-in-London-protest.html what a bunch of utter 'tards, lol.
  13. Kate Ashfield... with her husky voice....
  14. To be fair, I really don't blame Eddie at all. Yes, it was unprofessional but at the very least he's showing a human side - which is expected, considering the fact he'd personally put his hand in his pocket and filled their buckets up for them in the darkest hours. The progress they've made in 2 years is incredible and it's about time Bompey's snotty-nosed support realised that. "We'll never support the scummers" - Lol. Bless.
  15. This is their little moment in the spotlight - when the new stadium novelty and team gets picked apart, they're be lower-mid Championship on 12-14,000 gates. I estimate 2-3 seasons from now...
  16. Maybe he was, in some respects, regarded as a bit of a Lee Trundle - lower league enigma who played football more for the love than the money, wasn't absolutely serious about going big time and chasing the money - as long as he was having fun, playing and could have a bit more of a relaxed diet at that level? Maybe..?
  17. I think it's more the fact that people write players off before they've even kicked a ball (see the transfer section for some of the more moronic statements). If you know anything about football and footballers at all you could probably assess fairly accurately a players ability and potential. There are exceptions to that rule but in general, I'd say it was fairly clear that Lambert has probably been playing in leagues that he is likely too good for.
  18. Massive lolz... months of their pathetic taunting last year up until we beat them at DC, the gob****es have finally got what they deserve. I don't blame Eddie, who has probably overseen the most solvent part of the clubs history, ever.
  19. I only saw the last hour or so but apparently they turned their back on him when he came out. Typical small-time saddo behaviour, then again, I wouldn't have expected anything else. Grown men in an entire replica football kit
  20. That was brilliant. He's so stupid as well.. really, really stupid. I think even the Skate fans are embarrassed by him.
  21. So am I, what a massive pr1ck he is lmao Same old story, better team by many a mile, dominated the game, got robbed by the ref... Acting like a spoilt brat... We are so lucky...
  22. LMFAO, Cotterill spitting feathers again. Liam Lawrence sending off not a booking, sarcastic response to reporter, better team by "many a mile", we "dominated" until sending off...ROFL ROFL He's acting like a child now... again... ROFL Familiar story
  23. Ask Eddie... he's got £1.4m of your cash. No, wait, £400k. No, £800k. No, hang on, £200k. Erm... let him just check his account in the British Virgin Islands
  24. Bless the bucket rattlers. Eddie Mitchell took the microphone from PA and started offering out fans at Dean Court. Lolz.
  25. I don't think there as many teams aside from WHU, Brighton and Leicester who have a forward line as good if not better than Forest. Also, taking into account that there was wholesale changes at the back, perhaps we've done OK-ish.
