  1. What a f()cking sh1thole that ground is... just looked through that stadium tour pictures... It's good that you get an authentic matchday experience though, what with all those empty blue seats that greet you when you emerge from the rat tunnel...
  2. Haha, it was all very tongue in cheek Dave. I think you'll find I'm one of quite a few on here who are bit perplexed by all the bleating about insignificant things like programme front covers, car park payments etc. Seriously, some people really, really don't understand just how good we've got it and how lucky we are...
  3. These are the men to return the car park to the fans.
  4. LMFAO! I'm sorry this half-decent, purposeful thread was ruined now, I do feel a bit of guilt about that. Could have chosen any one of the many bed-wetting threads
  5. With all due respect TDD, what was I saying before the U21's...
  6. He's wrong, so wrong. Cortese is ruining this club and this defeat is the symbolisation of the first of the wheels coming off. We need a fan on the board, now.
  7. Awwww bless Leicester, sounds like they are trying artificially manifest an atmosphere with all that Poznan cr4p. At least they didn't have their "BELIEVE" placards this time round...
  8. It doesn't have to be just about today. For some bizarre reason, a lot of people had him down as MoM last week but I certainly didn't see that as the case. Besides, it doesn't just have to be about goals that Seaborne was directly accountable for...
  9. No more Seaborne, please. We're a centre half away from a sustainable promo bid
  10. Let's right him off before he signs. Good idea, that's worked for all the other players who were criticised. :-/
  11. Apart from the strop he had at Tranmere, what has he actually done to warrant being called a c()nt? People said he slagged us off in the papers, Talksport etc but he never did. If anything, he's been anything but a prima donna since he was consigned to the rubbish bin at Saints. He's trained and played with the kids and not squealed once about it to the media. AOC did, and yet he was not nearly treated with the same disdain.
  12. I'm not sure why people think a wobbling, raw and amateurish Aaron Martin or Dan Seaborne are now the answer. In fact, I'm still wondering how Seaborne got so many rave reviews versus Millwall. Yes, he got to almody everything but what did he do with the ball? He just deflected things off with his thigh/backside, headed the ball upwards/backwards or back to the opposition... that's not an improvement in his game, it's just an improvement in his commitment. And when he did have time on the ball he was just twitching to hoof it... We need a player of the same quality of Fonte. We need a ready-made bruiser, a younger-ish Jaidi type. Rotating Seaborne, Martin and Jaidi won't get us promoted - but playing Jaidi will at least give us a sniff...
  13. Exactly how I feel...
  14. The funny thing is, you're not moving on at all if you keep bring them up though, are you? (not you personally, but people in general)
  15. Whilst on the subject of Battle LA - that film, and 2012 were two of the most anticipated films of their genre and both, for me, were a catastrophic let down. If only there could have been a storyline amongst all those superb effects
  16. SaintsWeb has spoken once more. Go away, Zlatan, you're not welcome here.
  17. That's all very well, but that's not what our supa-dupa fan-on-the-board types want to hear.
  18. You make it sound as if they were doing it on purpose :-/
  19. I think many people are forgetting that if Woodward/Clifford were appointed, yes, it would have been a radical and illogical step but there was no guarantee it'd have failed. Plenty of decent non-ex professional football managers around... besides, anyone who had the balls to take on bully boy Redknapp gets a doff of my cap. What someone says about Clifford's coaching mantra is correct and has been used abroad for decades... his methods of improving the technique of young footballers will eventually replace the current 'kick-n-rush' breed that is dying out now, thankfully. Sadly though, he'll unlikely get the acclaim for being a pioneer of it though.
  20. In hindsight, you're right - I have to say, it's finding the balance. With the way we start games at the moment I'd imagine that the 15, 20 minute flurry of intense pressure is quite sapping. I'm also confident NA will adjust tactics accordingly throughout the season, too - knowing that the opposition will be wanting to stifle and figure us out; I think he'll keep most clubs guessing
  21. Christ, they weren't that leggy, stop p1ssing your pants. It was a hot day and Millwall, credit to them, gave us a really, really hard workout. We'll be fine.
  22. Haha, loved this post! WTF indeed eh!
  23. Sven is trying his "buy enough decent players and hopefully something will come together" trick again. I've a feeling it's going to end in tears, irrespective of what happens up there between our two teams.
  24. Second only to the the most deluded fans in the world from Pompey, with Bompey a close third.
  25. LOL @grown men chanting obscenities behind a police line. Why not just go to a pub, have a beer and enjoy the result?
