  1. What are there so many liberal nutcases on here? You can't even have a debate without it degenerating into lying, contradictions, insinuation, attempts to take the intellectual high ground.... and they seem the most smug, arrogant and ultimately the most stupid on here. Just my opinion, of course...
  2. Why would they bother calling when they know everything about anything in the world, ever?
  3. And this is absolutely true. And even if it isn't, it does not give anyone a free pass to riot, loot, rob, steal, destroy, vandalise and ruin other peoples lives and livelihoods. **** "understanding" them, that is what got us where we are right now... too much wet-willied, lily-livered liberalism.
  4. Yes, oh yes.
  5. you're absolutely right and I stand corrected. However, whatever the ethnicity, these sh1theads causing this need a good pasting. The problem is it could turn racial..
  6. Good again.
  7. attacking the youths that are stealing? Good, hope so.
  8. I absolutely agree... at 20, his wicketkeeping is already first-class but I'm sure there is more he can learn, I guess. I've still not seen him bat for any length of time though...
  9. We've approached Jamie Foster of Essex... if there was one person who'd be an ideal mentor for Michael Bates...
  10. As funny as it is, they're the idiots with the atypical nothing exists outside the Premier League perspective. Chamberlain will prove his worth undoubtedly.
  11. Had a look on Saturday and Sunday, they were totally oblivious to how good we were... they just moaned at how bad they were.
  12. Well, I'm pretty much of the same opinion as you. If Henderson is valued at £20m, AOC is worth at least £35m. That said, we were never going to get that for a player who had only played third tier football, irrespective of whether he is ten times the player Henderson is or not. On the face of it, it's an excellent deal. They get one of England's brightest prospects and we get £15m-ish to reinvest in the squad, not just one player. However, I do agree with your sentiments regarding Bale. AOC is not another Walcott-class footballer, he's far superior to that - and to many of other widely-touted youngsters around at the moment. His decision-making and technique far surpasses many of his age and older (especially Walcott) and I predict he'll be a top PL player within 1-2 seasons. It's a shame his dad is getting a pension out of it, but oh well...
  13. Don't doubt Flybe's new fleet of propulsion-based A338's.
  14. Looks a bit chunkier than J Rod, tbf
  15. And another thing... Lallana is the sort of player that will, whatever level, create you 1, 2, 3 or more good opportunities during a match. The only player they have who I can safely say would do so is Matt Jarvis... and is he as consistent? Does he get Lallana's amount of goals? No.
  16. This is a common problem when you've been in the Premier League... you rarely acknowledge life outside it. We did for a couple of seasons after relegation, too. Long may that ignorance continue.
  17. Uh, cheers! I think I must be regurgitating old news then?
  18. One of my much fabled ITK contacts told me this morning that we'd put in a significant double bid in to Burnley for two of their players. I've just seen, on here, someone has already mentioned Danny Fox... so, is it true? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
  19. Ah haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ITK!!!!
  20. This. Whinge whinge whinge. It's pretty sad.
  21. As I have posted umpteen times, Lallana is a Premier League class footballer. Not a Stoke, Wigan or Fulham class footballer either - A Spurs, Arsenal class footballer. People can tell me to take my "rose-tinted specs off" but I believe those who know a bit about football probably think the same too. Yes, he's only really done it in League One. Yet before Bale moved and stepped up as an international-class footballer, he had only one season in the NPC. And anyone who saw Bale graduate and perform in the Saints team should have noticed immediately that he already had the maturity and technique of a top Premier League footballer. World class technique, pace, great crosser and a set piece specialist. Lallana, yes, has only done it in League One (so far). But I defy anyone to tell me that there is a better, more creative young English footballer outside the top flight or, Jack Wilshere aside, in the Premier League. We are so very, very, very lucky to have him but I fear people will only realise just what an incredible player he is when he's gone. We have a player who, for all Leicester and West Ham's big-money purchases, they don't have. We have a player that is incomparable in terms of quality to anyone at else in the Championship. And it was hilarious as it was frustrating to see Lallana left out of the U21's for players like Mancienne, Henderson, Cleverley and Muamba. Really, Pearce? Really? No wonder we were so flat. That said, his omission is probably going to work in our favour considerably. And that is the reason why we must not stagnate and be "content" with a mid-table finish. As I've also said a million times before, if the height of our ambition is to establish ourselves in the NPC as opposed to a promotion push, then we can kiss goodbye to Fonte, Lallana, Oxo and any other of our best players come the end of the season. It's going to be a nailbiting season, but I think we're really in the middle of something good...
  22. Leeds are a good side however - and this is the important part - we stopped them from playing.
  23. TDD... I have a question for you; Could Jordan Henderson have done what Lallana did today - or for what it's worth, the past two seasons? This is exactly why he should have been in the U21's Glad he wasn't now though... haha
  24. Just perused several Leeds forums... I have not found one comment about how good we were - it's all about how poor they were. In a way, I'm glad they haven't really twigged. Ah well, long may that attitude continue against all our opponents
