  1. Big Adam going to be sucking up to him soon then. Turncoat.
  2. Yep, but our sensitive fanbase can dish it out but not take it back when they’re called out.
  3. Agree, no one has denied it’s been appalling, like you said. But the fans vitriol (where is the questioning of the board, players and recruitment team in recent years?) and the cherry on top of the cake, Big Adam and ‘Dozzy’ having that childish and quite frankly, snidey one-on-one. Four games. To turn around a six year sh1tstorm of a club. BOOOOOOOOO
  4. So do our fans, who booed him after 4 games and when he’s given a bit back, they’ve cried like big babies. If you dish it out, you should be prepared to take it back.
  5. I felt that interview was revolting. Childish. And quite sad.
  6. Utterly unbelievable. Utterly faultless. The only minor concern is Everton will arguably be fresher in the legs on Saturday but they sure as hell won’t be fresher in the mind. If the nadir was Forest, this has has to be the first giant step to redemption. Redemption for Bazunu, redemption for Lyanco - who is so often the epitome of the slapstick defending that has plagued us and ultimately, redemption for Jones. God willing, of course. 😉 So proud of that performance. It actually felt nice cheering every player, regardless of how they’d let us all down over the past few months. It felt great seeing a goal or two again. It felt incredible dominating City and their talented team. A most unusual but welcome feeling. It looked and felt like we’d finally found our cutting edge. That little bit of nasty. A fearless performance. Romeo fukkin Done.

  8. Yep. I wonder how many will pick up on that.
  9. Come on Saints, please.
  10. He…. Did…. What!!!!? 😲
  11. Watch that podcast. I almost vomited up my own rib cage watching it.
  12. Well done Saints, well done NJ. Hope you shut the boo boys up. Especially those of a very smug disposition.
  13. Nahhhh boo him, that’ll help . Then cry like a baby when he has a go back.
  14. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and I’ll say it again …Fingers crossed for another win for NJ, at least to wipe the smug disposition of the contributors on that bloody podcast.
  15. Boo that you bunch of degenerates. Fingers crossed for another win for NJ, at least to wipe the smug disposition of the contributors on that bloody podcast.
  16. Non stripe voter here too. oh and it’s got to be bold and brave over anything else.
  17. Yeah, I get your point. To say I’m non plussed by the appointment and the performances so far is an understatement. Perhaps he should rise above the criticism but I get it if he feels aggrieved as when it comes down to culpability, he’s a small speck of what’s been going on in these last few years… and it’s not as if he’s rocking up with the intention of making us even worse. but if the toxicity continues it work bode well for him and us. For example, I get the impression there are people just lying in wait to criticise the first thing that happens or point the finger as soon as they can. But irrespective, our fans have always been a bit precious when it comes to receiving stick. Giving it out, no problem but when they get a bit back, they tend to be the first to cry foul.
  18. That’ll be another generation that’ll be criminally misused.
  19. On the flip side, our fans can’t take a bit of stick back when it comes their way, can they? Not defending how atrocious we’ve been under NJ so far, but culpability wise, he’s far down the pecking order of ineptitude: what about our recruitment team for the past 6 years? What about our players, who have churned out drivel and substandard performances since 2016? What about our core business leaders who gave contracts to unrewarding players? And so far it’s been alright to dish it all out solely to NJ but when he defends himself, a lot of people don’t like him answering back? Nah, despite what many think of him and his appointment it should cut both ways. Some of our fans need to put their big boy pants on.
  20. Can I just say, Ref: Keane, because a player was sh1t at one club it doesn’t mean he’ll be sh1t at every club. Sometimes it just doesn’t suit the player or they need a fresh start.
  21. Trying to help in and shake it all about threads
  22. I definitely think there’s some crossovers from the people we both know! This guy I didn’t know, but he’d been in a few times but I’d not spoken to him until then. He was absolutely furious. This wasn’t the first time Cortese had changed his mind on something and then refused to pay once it was installed, apparently 😂 Oh do remind me of the Coriander Lounge story? Was it you also who mentioned he had a chef from there (or somewhere in town) make him his own food or something?
  23. I had someone come into my place of work effing and jeffing. I asked him what was wrong and he said ‘that little f()cking pr1ck has changed his mind again!’ - I asked him where was working and he said he was at Staplewood. I dug a bit more and it was one of the contractors doing some of the interior work in the buildings. He’d ordered some 55k sliding doors, fitted them and NC said ‘take them down, don’t like them’ and refused to pay for the outlay. Not exactly what I wanted to hear at the time as I was a huge Cortese fanboi. Tbh, it’s a shame really as if you put the evidently terrible stuff about Cortese aside (flippantly spending other people’s money, his attitude towards staff etc) he was pretty much what we all wanted in a chairman. He had a vision and was acting upon it, but sadly to the detriment of someone else’s finances and whoever stood in his way.
  24. Tbf, he’s only ‘at fault’ for this seasons recruitment and for many on here, this was a 10/10 window not too long ago. I would say it’s more the shite we recruited under Gao and Kat that’s been the problem. That has been a millstone around our necks for years, and some of the utter dirge is still here clogging up the wage bill… the misuse of the money we had on utter w4nk since Koeman left is and has been the bigger problem IMO. I bet alot of these players will turn out to be decent but it’s been done too quick, too soon and now they’re in for a crash course on attempting to survive in the Premier League. Now that is his fault as that was his vision. roll that together with the mismanagement and chronic ineptitude of the past and you’ve got a perfect storm… and here we are, paying for it now.
