  1. But we currently don't know that it is going to be better than in the summer of 2013. Like others, it seems petty quibbling over £25, but in five years time that'll mean tickets are £125 more than they are now. That's way above inflation.
  2. He's right, there was noise from the Northam. Though as he says, I think it was mostly people in the concourse not realising what was happening
  3. I always buy tickets for my non Saints supporting mate, as when he comes we try to get a specific seat so need to buy as early as possible. He's been to loads of games but this system will rule him out.
  4. Although Rodriguez has been excellent, hopefully he wont pick up sympathy votes at Lallana's expense. Adam has been sensational, a joy to watch.
  5. It flipped off of the wing, not the nose.
  6. Ordinarily I'd agree, but he was SO far offside it was reasonable of them to assume the ref was about to call it. I think they'd have scored anyway fwiw.
  7. He's a goal keeper, he's meant to make some saves! He was awful.
  8. The training ground needed a major overhaul if we were to progress.
  9. Lallana was ****ing immense.
  10. Am I missing something? I didn't think it was that good. Seen numerous press references to Maradona v England today, which I cannot fathom. Hype hype hype. Perhaps I'm being a miserable bastard, but I don't see how this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b67GQaghB8 Is in any way truly comparable to this. In reality, it is surely more comparable to this...
  11. This is when we could really do with Wanyama
  12. Great feet Rickie, great finish Lallana. Let's keep the pressure up and get another.
  13. Cork playing well
  14. If they introduce barriers, how am i going to **** off the people two rown in front by landing on them when we score a massive goal?
  15. Maybe I can help you with this. Fiotball is a sport, it's not "meant to be an entertainment". You are paying to witness a sporting event, and of course it's nice when it's entertaining, but it's a sport and is primarily about winning. Going to the theatre is entertainment, there's no focus on winning, just on keeping the audience entertained. Athletics = sport Cinema = entertainment Snooker = sport Music gig = entertainment Is that helpful?
  16. Dear god no. Boruc at 50% is better than Gazza at 100%.
  17. It's one of the first things you are told not to do if you are a bit **** at football and not able to be relied upon to make accurate passes. Premier League footballers are not told to avoid passing across the defence, they are told to maintain possession. Brendan Rogers got quite a lot of stick for this, I can't remember if it was Liverpool or Swansea had let in a few in this way, he put up an excellent argument for it being generally productive despite the inevitable odd goal you will give away trying. He's not doing too badly now is he?
  18. Absolute rubbish. Hodgson has been more open to players outside the top four than any England manager in recent memory.
  19. So you're saying that of two players who made similar mistakes, you're judging one more harshly than the other. That seems fair of you. Fonte's mistake was much worse btw.
  20. Enjoyed seeing the moron Fulham fan with his kids laying into the Lino in front of him. The officials have goal line technology, and your other player was miles offside, you aggressive bell end.
  21. I kid has developed his game to become extremely selfless. His work has allowed the likes of J Rod and Lallana to get more opportunities but in doing so he's sacrificed the number he gets himself. The fact that a player tactically taking one for the team has caused a portion of our fanbase to decide he's now rubbish frustrates me immensely. It doesn't help that he's at an age where fans seem to look for any excuse to declare that a player is too old and losing their legs.
  22. Put Niemi, Killer, Bridge and Beattie from that season into this side and we'd have an amazing team. Anders & Oakley on the bench. Anders > Gaston.
  23. Do we need to discuss chaos theory again?
  24. I think the fact people are using Sturridge and Suarez as an example of the next level up shows just how far Lambert has come.
