  1. Somebody at my work has a theory that they're being sent alphabetically. Mostly based on the fact I have got mine, and my surname begins with C. So is there a mr xylophone or something on this forum who has his tickets and can prove them otherwise?
  2. I wonder if AP has told him to work his ******** off for 70mins and then he will bring him off.
  3. Puncheon has been brilliant in recent home games. Last night he had two and occasionally three Swindon players closing him down every time he got the ball. When that happens (and it will again) the rest of the team need to step up and exploit the spaces it leaves elsewhere, but last night they were unable to.
  4. You want somebody who is commited and is actually going to throw themselves into it. Would be Hammond for me. Don't agree with those saying there should be an extra sub available for this, if you use all your subs this is the risk you take. I love it when outfield players have to go in goal, makes you realise how good professional keepers are too.
  5. If you look at the players from the Millwall game on the first day of the season. Davis, Perry, Thomas, Wotton... Those players had spent the previous 1 or 2 years only really losing football matches (for us). Lallana, Paterson, James, Schneiderlin had essentially spent their entire football careers to that point only really losing football matches (for us). We had a team who had forgotten how to win. It was always going to take time to get them to believe in themselves again or bring in players who could help them do that.
  6. What I don't understand is... Why, with all the incredibly clever people working in F1, can they not collectively come up with a set of regulations that would allow a car to get within a second of another without losing all aerodynamic stability. I'm pretty sure if they wanted to they could, so why don't they want to?
  7. It may well be getting relaid, but it probably has more to do with the FA Cup Semi Finals a week or so later than the JPT. Besides, they've relaid it quite a few times already and it's still sh*t.
  8. Bloody useless ticket office eh michelle?
  9. Confirmed on BBC they have missed the deadline to apply in case they make the UEFA cup. What a shambles of a club.
  10. I thought that was a stupid experiment. It messes you up IF you eat them for every single meal. Pretty sure the same could be said about a lot of different foods.
  11. The bloke outside the King Alfred after home games sells plain red and white striped scarves for £5
  12. Yes. That would solve everything.
  13. I thought it might be. If you say that "a teams quality is shown by how they respond to a big win", you have to be prepared to look at more than one example of how they have responded to big wins. I was giving you another example to try and cheer you up, an example that was based on a game that has ACTUALLY FINISHED!
  14. Sorry let me explain it for you. You said that a team and managements quality is how well they respond to a big win... I was pointing out that the last time we had a chance to respond to a big win (5-1 Walsall) we did so with another big win (5-0 Huddersfield). Therefore you have shown our team and management to clearly be of the highest quality.
  15. Well we responded to the last good victory with a 5-0 win, so seems they're pretty much top quality.
  16. I think a lot of people confuse ambition with impatience.
  17. Absolutely no blaspheming apparently.... "Stand Up, if you've ****ged the queen!"

  19. This place sounds like my worst nightmare. "To avoid embarrassment we ask you to take note of the tearoom etiquette. The un-savoury habit of dunking biscuits’ is strictly prohibited and will result in you being ask to leave the tea rooms. There is a correct way to hold your cup and saucer. Pick up your cup and saucer together-holding the saucer in one hand and the cup in the other. The best way to hold a tea cup is to slip your index finger through the handle, up to almost the first knuckle, then balance and secure the cup by placing your thumb on the top of the handle and allowing the bottom of the handle to rest on your middle finger. Hold the cup lightly, by the handle- your pinkie doesn’t have to be extended. Hold the saucer under your cup while you sip your tea (least you should spill or dribble). When stirring your tea, kindly refrain from clinking the sides of your cup. Gently swish the liquid back and forth being careful not to touch the sides of your cup if possible. Never leave your spoon in the cup and be sure not to sip your tea from the spoon either. After stirring, place your spoon quietly on the saucer, behind the cup, on the right hand side under the handle. Please ensure you introduce a little milk or cold water to your cup before pouring your tea to prevent cracking of the china. We have kindly provided sugar tongs on each table for your use. For hygiene reasons please do not touch the sugar cubes in the bowl."
  20. Good point, looks like they're not... Shall I tell them or let them go and camp in St Mary's as pennance for SHUNNING my advice and not even bothering with the Semi Final?
  21. I know people from work who are doing this too, although I did tell them to get a ticket for the SF and still cannot really understand why they didn't.
  22. Has a team ever gone to the first race without any actual testing before?
  23. HRT Racing. Quality.
  24. Papa's goal looks better every time. Every time he took a touch I thought 'nope, he's ****ed it' only for him to keep on proving me wrong and sticking it in the net.
  25. Well thank **** for that.
