Hi verbal how are you? How's the theapy? Good to see you on here. I thought your wife had banned you from posting after she caught you having a, shall we call it, inappropriate discussion about her. I guess this forum must be more important to you.

Hope you all have a good one celebrating how great it is to be English. What are your plans?

I'm going there in June for two weeks. I shall report back. Everyone I've spoken to said it's amazing.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Turkish replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
I beg your pardon. It wasn't a joke Nick. I have genuine sympathy for the left wingers on here. It must be difficult and confusing being told what to believe. I mean, you're meant to believe in equal rights for women and feeedom for gays, yet at the same time embrace Islam which condemns these things. You're meant to believe in freedom of speech for all until it's something you don't agree with where you can get yourself worked up into s frothy mess. You're meant to be opposed to racism, everyone is equal etc yet every time a non white person does something its cause for great celebration, the black history month, black player awards etc, they might as well walk around with a banner saying "well done! Look what they've achieved even though they're black!" Yet of course if anything negative happens then colour is mosr definitely not and issue and should never be mentioned Politics- we want to live in a democaratic society until a vote doesn't go their way, then everyone who didn't vote how they wanted it to go is thick, racist and intolerant. Wahhh it's all your fault! Then there is religion, which is all bo llocks unless it's Islam In which case its amazing! (Well ignore he bits about homophobia, racism and sexism as that would make us look, well, racist) let's not forget Brittan isn't even a Christian country apart from when we're celebrating Christmas, Easter getting married or buried in s church etc When you stack it all up it's no wonder the lovely, tolerant, welcoming lefties are so quick to be outraged any chance they get. Trying to make what you believe fit what you're conditioned to believe is a full time effort -
Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Turkish replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Don't start on Catholics. My cousin is married to one and she's a really nice woman, just because Martin Mcguiness was a terrorist it doesn't mean they all murder people. As for the positive effects of Islam anything that keeps women in the kitchen is surely a good thing? Half the problems in this country are caused by women having ideas above their station. Then of course there are the gays, anything that keeps Them off the telly has my full support. it's great that there is more awareness of this illness now But enough is enough, we don't need it made to be cool or fashionable, just let them deal with it their own way until they find a cure. I embrace Islam for these two positive reasons alone. -
What happened to "they said man would never walk on the moon" Les?

Correct, I think it was for a a higher fee than you mention more like £11m for the pair but that's right. Lowe also pulled the plug on a deal from Adebeyor before he went to Arsenal as he didn't like his attitude. I was also told we could have had Drogba for £3m before he went to Marseille but Lowe said he was too similar to Beattie I had a lot of contacts at the club at this time so all true.

The Tories don't even need to bother with a campaign this Time, Corbyn will do the work for them.

I wonder how seriously someone with the user name cillablacksp*ssflaps would be taken on here?

That Sunderland game us the 2016 version of that villa game.

Grown men in fancy dress thinking they're hilarious, banter boys putting mars bars on their heads thinking they're hilarious. People hero worshipping a midget in a suit who told them whey wanted to hear, div fans who compared footballers to looking like crisps, people sitting in football stadiums on their phones or iPads. People filming key moments of a game rather than enjoying the moment. Saints "fans" filming other clubs celebrating goals against us. Half and half scarves. Men overt he age of 16 getting emotionally attached to players.

He clearly has talent, remember that Sunderland game!

The Milan derby was an absolute cracker, Inter 2-0 up at half time, just finished 2-2 with Milan scoring an equaliser in the 7th minute of injury time. No knocking on out over what a manager had said or his mind games before the match, no banging on about zlatan, wazza, etc, no banter on the terraces just toe decent teams going at it with the fans bang at it.

I thought he blamed Les Reed.

Still can't believe they disallowed Keegan's overhead kick, would have made it 7.

What a day that was. Went to the joiners that night to see an unheard of American band call Nirvana.

Was the famous Man United shirt swapping game. Who else was there? I was, it was a great 6-3 win

Do you really have so little going on in your life that you care so much what a bloke who stopped playing football before you were probably born thinks our score will be?

Mathmatically we can still make the champions league. #itshappening

We could have spent 1% of our income on an assurance player, one we'll definitely use

NO NO NO! This was planned. We know exactly who we are bringing in when players leave and have a list of targets drawn up. No one leaves without a replacement coming in. We are constantly monitoring players all over the place as part of our meticulous planning. Caceres was always our first choice it just took a while to get over the line. I'd suggest we have the best centre back options in the premier league now.

He didn't have a preseason, wasn't fit until October. No sooner did he get fit he got injured again and missed most of January He's a young man in a new country, new team new style of play. Puel said he's lacking a bit of confidence Have patience, he's shown he's got quality, we will see much more from him next season.

Southampton 0 Bournemouth 0 - Match & Reactions
Turkish replied to Pass the Dutchie's topic in The Saints
We've played well, good patient football, created some decent chances and not really given them a sniff apart from the Forster mess up off the line. We've been the much better team but we've seen these sort of performances too often this season where we dominate possession don't take our chances then lose.
